Well yes and no. This mini Batmobile, you have indeed already seen it here. It is that of _Tiler, based on the version of 2008 made at the time by Kaitimar.

But where it gets interesting is that the two brick artists got together to submit the craft on Cuusoo. Yes, I know, Cuusoo is wrong, and I think none the less. But a polybag with this Batmobile, admit that it already makes you salivate ...

So even if we will have to row to find 10.000 supporters, get the LEGO agreement for the second phase, and row again to see one day a bag produced with the parts to assemble this superb Batmobile, I remain optimistic and I tell myself that this project deserves your support and mine.

This week, I'm writing from Taiwan, I'm there for Computex, an international show bringing together computer hardware manufacturers.

Little wink with these images found on the flickr gallery of Katanaz, on which we discover the polybag 30059 MTT, seen in the animated series The Clone Wars and whose I spoke to you at the beginning of the year, which turns out to be quite successful.

The same Katanaz presents various polybags which are sold in Japan in distributors like those we know in France in gas stations or supermarkets. For 400 Yen, or just over € 4, each set is sold in a plastic capsule identifiable by the color of its shell. I would take advantage of my stay in Taiwan to try to find these capsules here, it is an original packaging and perfectly suited to these small sets.

Patience is the mother of savings in the LEGO world. And Toys R Us will make some happy with a valid promotion from 28 May to 17 June 2012 which will allow you to obtain the exclusive minifig of Darth Maul in polybag (6005188) distributed at the last New York Toy Fair 2012.

Offer is limited to 2000 first customers on all Toys R Us stores and applies to any purchase of a LEGO Star Wars set, no amount limit. A pretty good deal, but we will have to fight, to be sure to get this minifigure which was rare until now and which was negotiated at a high price on eBay or Bricklink ... It's very nice all these promotions where we are flooded with chrome minifigs, miniature Hulks, various and varied bags, but there is one that everyone has put aside a little lately: the polybag 6005188 Darth Maul. 

And for good reason, it was still sold for almost 40 € recently on Bricklink, which is, let's face it, a bit excessive.

And good news, an English channel, SMYTHS, currently distributes this minifigure in its stores located in Great Britain and Ireland with any purchase of a set from the LEGO Star Wars range.

The effect was immediate, the starting price for a sachet containing Darth Maul fell less than 20 € and it should drop a bit further in the next few days ... before rising as usual.

In short, if you want one and don't want to take the Eurostar, now is the time to get it ...
