LEGO has put online on certain geographical versions of its official store a new promotional product that strangely resembles a reference already marketed: the LEGO Brickheadz set. 40726 Limited Edition Batman 85th Anniversary is indeed an "Anniversary" version of the set 40748 Batman 8in1 Figure on sale since this summer on the official online store at the public price of €24,99.

The inventory of 325 pieces is identical for both products with the possibility of assembling one of the eight versions of Batman:

  • Batman Classic TV Series (#246)
  • Batman 1989 (#247)
  • Batman The Animated Series (#248)
  • Batman The Dark Knight Trilogy (#249)
  • The LEGO Batman Movie (#1)
  • Batman v. Superman (#250)
  • The Batman (#251)
  • Bronze Age Batman (#245)

This promotional product differs from the classic reference already on sale only by the presence of eight mini-posters which depict the different versions of the Gotham vigilante and by a packaging with a very successful design.

LEGO's decision to make this new collector's version of the set a promotional product is rather clever: the first of the eight minifigures will therefore be offered under the condition of purchase, those who then want to complete the collection started with a free product will eventually have to go back to the checkout to get what is needed to assemble the other seven versions. Some of the elements (1x4) delivered in this box are pad printed on two sides, so a single box does not allow you to obtain all the patterned elements necessary to assemble the eight minifigures.

We do not yet know the terms of the offer that will allow you to receive this little box.
