Today we are taking a very quick look at the contents of the LEGO 40908 Restaurants of the World: Greece promotional set , a small box of 254 pieces currently offered with purchases of €180 or more without any range restrictions on the official online store.
This product is already sold out on several versions of the Shop, it seems that there are still some left in France at the time of writing these lines and it would be a shame to miss out on this third installment of what LEGO calls the " Restaurants of the World " collection.
This set is the third and penultimate in this collection, which already includes sets 40906 Restaurants of the World: Japan and 40907 Restaurants of the World: Mexico , two products previously offered on the LEGO Shop. A fourth and final set will arrive later this year.
As with the two previous sets, everything here is a bit caricatured, but that's the subject of this thematic set which relies heavily on geographical clichés.
I would have gone a step further by replacing the parasol with a slice of lemon, but the Greek theme is already well represented with a plethora of diverse and varied accessories that furnish a 10 x 12 stud shop with architecture typical of the country's usual postcards. The staircase built into the side of the building leads to an unusable terrace, and there are no chairs for customers on the ground floor; here, you eat standing up.
The included figurine features a charming, unique torso that wishes customers "bon appétit" via the message printed on its back—perfectly on theme. Three stickers are included, one of which is the store logo.
