Review : LEGO Creator 40772 Celebration Series: 3. Luminous Ghost

Today we take a quick look at the contents of the LEGO Creator set 40772 Celebration Series: 3. Luminous Ghost, a small box of 167 pieces which is offered on the official online store from September 28, 2025 to October 7, 2025 from €120 of purchase without range restrictions.

As you probably already know, this involves assembling a small ghost flanked by a light brick. Nothing crazy, the construction is not exceptionally finished, but it will undoubtedly easily find its place in a Halloween-themed diorama. This is a seasonal product whose purpose is to serve as a thematic decoration for a few days a year before ending up stored in a corner in the hope of finding it again the following year.

We will note the use here of three copies of the 2x4 brick in Transparent Opal already seen in several other sets since 2023 and used here for the interior of the ghost's head, these three bricks let through the red light emitted by the light brick provided.

For the rest, you know the drill: you have to hold your finger on the Technic beam that moves the light brick's button, or block the element in question to keep the brick lit permanently. No stickers in this little box.

The ghost appears to be levitating thanks to the use of a few transparent bricks, and is accompanied by a pumpkin and a bat mounted on a transparent rod. It's not worth getting up at night if you don't have anything specific to buy at full price on the official online store right now.

The offer will still be valid on October 1, 2025, so it will still be a good idea if you are interested in some of the planned new features.
