16/09/2024 - 14:31 LEGO FORTNITE New LEGO 2024 Reviews

Today we take a quick look at the contents of the LEGO FORTNITE set 77071 Supply Llama, a box of 691 pieces currently available for pre-order on the official online store and which will be available from October 1, 2024 at the public price of €39,99.

As with the Battle Bus, the subject matter here was predictable, as this supply llama has become emblematic of the FORTNITE video game over the seasons. LEGO is therefore going for its own version without forgetting what makes its reputation as a manufacturer of construction toys in addition to the finish of its products and the assembly experience: the features integrated into the products.

This llama is therefore both a purely decorative product and a toy that offers something to install the bonuses inside the colored piñata and eject them afterwards. Nothing very elaborate here, it is gravity that allows you to recover the grappling hook, the bluing, the noise ruby, the backpack, the lucky charm, the slap juice and the dynamite via the openings on the sides of the construction.

For the rest, if you are wondering where the 691 pieces of the product have gone, a large part of the small parts of the inventory are notably in the animal's fur. The finish is quite acceptable for a product at this scale with its 24 cm high, there are only three stickers and the product probably did not deserve to become a more imposing and therefore more expensive construction. The nod to the video game is still billed at €40 and this product being an exclusive to the official store it will be difficult to find cheaper.

One regret: LEGO does not provide any minifigs in this box and yet it was the opportunity to include some additional skins which would have completed the collection initiated via the set. 77073 Battle Bus (954 pieces - €99,99). The whole thing is assembled in thirty minutes, the assembly experience will not leave you with an unforgettable memory, especially if you do not like lining up small pieces. I will not spoil the inside of the llama, you must have some surprises in exchange for your €40, but we are approaching the technique usually reserved for BrickHeadz figurines.

In addition to its game mechanics, FORTNITE also relies on the many outfits offered to players, so ignoring potentially interesting minifigs in certain sets in the range seems a bit disappointing to me, even if apart from the Battle Bus LEGO only offers purely decorative products with no real playability.

In short, this little product will undoubtedly please the most assiduous LEGO and video game fans who will see in it the association of the best of their two favorite worlds, all for an almost reasonable budget. This is not the first time that LEGO deals with this subject, but the first version of the llama was an edition on a more modest scale and in a very limited edition. This box sold for €40 should, like the rest of the range, be very present under the Christmas trees; it is the ideal gift for a fan of the game who wants to enhance the decoration of his office with a very colorful pencil pot.

Note: The product shown here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at September 26, 2024 next at 23:59 p.m. Simply post a comment below the article to participate.
