As you already know, the members of the LEGO Insiders program who will make the effort to acquire the LEGO Marvel set 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion at its public price of €329,99 from November 1, 2024 will receive a copy of the LEGO Marvel promotional set 5009015 CerebroThe offer to receive this small box of 153 pieces will be valid until November 7, 2024 if stock allows.
This small set comes in the yellow soft cardboard box usually used for Insider rewards with its instruction booklet which also serves as a visual on the packaging and allows you to assemble the Cerebro mutant detector in a more substantial version than the one on the first floor of the school in the set. 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion. Here we get a more complete version of the large room in which Charles Xavier isolates himself with its catwalk and suspended control post. No helmet in the box.
As is often the case, the whole thing is assembled very quickly and for those who are wondering, there are no stickers in this box. The part that indicates that it is indeed the Cerebro is therefore pad printed, just like the one that features the mutant Jubilee. Don't be surprised if you discover the parts stored in an unsealed zip bag, that's normal.
Many visible tenons on the base of this construction, it will be up to each person to appreciate the level of finish of the object according to their expectations. Personally, I find all this a little dull and crude but it is very personal. We will remember the possibility of opening the door of the places flanked by a large X, an anecdotal functionality on a pure exhibition product like this one.
The Charles Xavier figurine delivered in this box is nothing new, it is once again an assembly of existing elements with the head of Loki or Lucius Malfoy placed on the torso of Jonah Jameson (76178 Daily Bugle) or Alfred Pennyworth (76183 Batcave: The Riddler Face-Off), all associated with a pair of neutral legs.
This promotional product should please fans who will fall for it as soon as the LEGO Marvel set is launched. 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion, it is designed to appeal to the most dedicated fans who don't hesitate to pay full price for their favorite products without waiting for a possible discount elsewhere than at LEGO. We can also see that LEGO is currently multiplying relatively successful promotional products to ensure successful product launches, so much the better for those who love these little sets. Let's hope that LEGO ships this little set separately from the LEGO Marvel set 76294 X-Men: The X-Mansion to prevent the soft box from being completely crushed.
The element with the "Cerebro" pad-printed mention will probably remain exclusive to this box, the one with the Jubilee visual will perhaps one day be available in another set of the range, LEGO probably not having chosen to print this specific piece only for a promotional product. To be checked in the coming months. For the rest, it will be possible to reconstitute the product without spending €329,99, the inventory of the set being composed of elements easily accessible on the secondary market.
Note: The product shown here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at 11th November 2024 next at 23:59 p.m. Simply post a comment below the article to participate. Your participation is taken into account regardless of your opinion. Avoid “I’m participating” or “I’m trying my luck”, we suspect that this is the case.
