Today we are very quickly interested in the new batch of mechs with LEGO sauce and under Marvel and DC licenses and I am doing them in batches so as not to repeat myself. Three sets have been on the shelves since January 2025 with the LEGO Marvel references 76307 Iron Man vs. Ultron (101 pieces), LEGO Marvel 76308 Spider-Man Mech vs. Anti-Venom (107 pieces) and LEGO DC 76302 Superman Mech vs. Lex Luthor (120 pieces). All three are sold at the public price of €14,99, which is the price to pay to get these little mechs that children love and two figurines per box.
As for the three available mechs, the usual recipe is at work with the elbow pieces which serve as a base for the arms and knees, the four-fingered hands, the grey kneecaps which know how to get noticed as well as the pad-printed pieces which are stuck on the torso of the different assemblies.
The mobility of these three armors is therefore as always relatively limited with fixed knees and elbows but there is something to have fun with even if the three owners probably do not need this accessory because of their respective powers or abilities.
With Iron Man, you install armor within armor, Spider-Man will have a little trouble climbing facades with as much agility as usual once installed at the controls of his mech and Superman did not need this attribute to gain persuasive power against Lex Luthor. That being said, this range seems to have really found its audience among the youngest fans and LEGO therefore insists on trying to renew the genre a little.
It is well executed in all three cases, considering the very limited inventory of each of these three boxes and each of the armors is matched to its owner via the colors used and the pad-printed elements. It is difficult to find fault with these products, the concept is questionable but it is once again very well wrung out and at an almost reasonable price.
As for the figures provided, the Iron Man one is identical to the minifig also available in the LEGO Marvel set. 76310 Iron Man Car & Black Panther vs. Red Hulk (€29,99) and Ultron is new in this form, just to seduce the most assiduous collectors. Both minifigs are perfectly executed, nothing to complain about.
Spider-Man with his pad-printed arms has been available in this form at LEGO since 2021 and there is hardly anything other than the Anti-Venom provided that will appeal to collectors. This latest figurine is successful if we consider the reference look of this symbiote with inverted Venom colors.
Superman benefits from a new version of the character's iconic torso but is content with neutral legs and a soft cape and Lex Luthor is new in this form with a superb pad printing of the torso and legs. This is probably the most accomplished version of the character marketed to date by LEGO.
We're not going to lie to each other as adult fans, there are only the minifigs that interest us in these small boxes and LEGO is not too stingy with new elements and possibilities to treat ourselves at the beginning of 2025 to versions also available elsewhere but since withdrawn from the shelves or still available for a little more than in these relatively affordable small boxes.
It seems that these mechs are really selling like hotcakes, LEGO not being shy about regularly putting new ones on the shelves. So much the better for the youngest who have fun with them, so much the better also for the adult fans who find here new figurines without having to bother with the usual playsets of the Marvel and DC ranges too expensive for what they have to offer.
These three products are already offered at more attractive prices elsewhere than at LEGO, they can currently be found for a little less than €12 which makes them even more attractive.
Note: The product shown here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at March 21, 2025 at 23:59 pm. Just post a comment under the article to participate. Your participation is taken into account regardless of your opinion. Avoid "I'm participating" or "I'm trying my luck", we suspect that this is the case.
