Review : LEGO Marvel 76312 The Hulk Truck vs. Thanos

Today we are quickly interested in the content of the LEGO Marvel set 76312 The Hulk Truck vs. Thanos, a box of 229 pieces which will be available via the official online store from April 1, 2025 at the public price of €29,99.

Everyone knows that Hulk never travels without his favorite off-roader, a vehicle he may share with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. More seriously, LEGO is once again taking the easy route to younger fans of the Marvel Universe by including a vehicle in a set featuring characters who didn't necessarily need one.

The Monster Truck delivered here is not without merit, it is well executed considering the inventory provided and it even has the luxury of having a semblance of suspension via a few rubber inserts. The vast majority of the set's inventory goes into the vehicle, Thanos being on foot.

For once, Hulk isn't throwing a vehicle at his enemies; he's at the wheel, wearing his yellow helmet, as if he were about to take part in a Monster Jam competition. The whole thing is very quickly assembled and promises several hours of play for anyone who enjoys this big off-roader.

No doors and the minifigure must be installed at the wheel of the vehicle by removing the roof. Three stickers in the box, those of the doors with the words "Hulk Smash!" and the one with the Hulk head that sits on the front hood.

As I said, Thanos is on foot, which incidentally allows us to keep the product's retail price at an almost reasonable level, even if the character could have done with a skateboard for the sake of appearances. We'll do without.

The Hulk figure uses the torso already seen in the sets 76241 Hulk Mech Armor (2023) et 76287 Iron Man with Bike and The Hulk (2024) and the character's head was also present in the set marketed in 2024. No legs with ragged pants, it's a bit of a shame especially in relation to the subject matter here. You can choose to install his hair or the yellow helmet provided. Hulk obviously needs a helmet while driving, you never know, he could get hurt in the event of an accident.

The Thanos minifig allows you to obtain a torso with a very well executed new design, the head of the character is the one already seen in several sets since 2021. In the hands of Thanos, an Infinity Gauntlet and the Tesseract, that's always something.

In short, this little box probably won't revolutionize the genre, but it will allow a child to have a little fun while their parents discreetly steal Thanos's torso to supply their Ribba frames with various and varied variations. For €30, it's almost reasonable.
