Today we are quickly interested in the content of the LEGO Marvel set 76315 Iron Man's Laboratory: Hall of Armor, a box of 384 pieces currently on pre-order and which will be available via the official online store from April 1, 2025 at the public price of €54,99.
If the contents of this new release seem familiar, you're not dreaming. With a few details and figurines, this is a "light" version of the content already seen in the LEGO Marvel sets. 76125 Iron Man Hall of Armor (524 pieces - 69.99 €) and 76167 Iron Man Armory (258 pieces - €29.99) launched in 2019 and 2020 respectively. These two combined boxes then made it possible to obtain a relatively opulent staging.
This new 2025 interpretation of Tony Stark's lab is a little more economical and it's also a reboot The design of the niches housing the various armors of the owner of the place is quite successful. Three spaces are available, they are flanked by their respective stickers (see the scan of the board below).
We can't say that we're really winning, especially at the price LEGO is asking for this 2025 new product. We can console ourselves with the scanner, the maintenance platform with its two robotic arms and the presence of the MK38 "Igor" armor delivered here in the form of a buildable figurine, still as ugly but ultimately rather faithful to the reference version for an interpretation at this scale.
There is no doubt that this is the first part of a larger room, of which at least one extension will sooner or later try to rob us of a few dozen additional euros to obtain a more convincing presentation.
As it stands, it's still very minimalist with three constructions without any real physical link between them and the presence of a few clips on the sides of the section which allows three armors to be aligned gives hope for a rapid evolution of the diorama. The set's maintenance platform 76125 Iron Man Hall of Armor had at least the merit of being connected to the rest of the structure to be built, this is not the case here.
Being honest and putting aside the asking price, it's all actually pretty well executed and visually pleasing. But in my opinion, it's far too simplistic for €55, with the unpleasant feeling of paying full price for the start of a larger playset and locking yourself into having to go back to the checkout one day.
On the other hand, the figure offering is quite comprehensive with Pepper Potts, Aldrich Killian, Iron Patriot in MK1 version, Iron Man in MK6 version and Iron Man in MK43 armor. DUM-E is also there with his favorite fire extinguisher, just like the MK38 "Igor" armor delivered here in the form of a buildable figure.
Aldrich Killian, who we hadn't seen at LEGO since the set version 76006 Iron Man Extremis Sea Port Battle marketed in 2013, returns here in a more cinematic interpretation with a nice torso but a pair of desperately gray and neutral legs which spoil the figurine a little.
Pepper Potts has reused the torso already provided for the character in several sets since 2021, as well as Claire Dearing's hairstyle. It's a shame, as the character probably deserved a more significant update to make her a less generic figure.
Regarding the armor provided, Iron Patriot in MK1 version is new from the helmet to the legs including the torso, except for the head which is logically that of War Machine in other sets of the range since 2022.
Iron Man in MK6 version benefits from a new torso resting on legs already seen elsewhere. He wears a helmet available since 2022 in this form and uses only a transparent head to symbolize the empty armor. Iron Man in MK43 armor, for his part, is saddled with elements already seen elsewhere since 2024.
The MK38 "Igor" armor could save the day a little because it is, as I said above, relatively faithful to the reference version, but the gray ball joints used at the hips and knees unfortunately remain far too visible to convince me. No joints at the elbows, you have to make do with the part usually used for the arms and legs of the mechs at €14,99.
We can also discuss the sticker sheet provided, partly composed of stickers on a transparent background that don't look the best once applied with visible traces of glue. I understand the need to keep the partition of the niches that house the different armors transparent, but it would be good if LEGO looked into the subject a little seriously. For €55, I think we could have even had nice pad-printed windows.
This little box is probably just the beginning of the reboot of what is therefore becoming a chestnut tree of the LEGO Marvel range and in my opinion we must expect an extension which will give a little cachet to the whole.
The niches provided for the armors are well done, some fans might consider using them as inspiration to upgrade their home Hall of Armor. In any case, we will wisely wait for this product to be available elsewhere for much less than at LEGO, the minifigure supply here is indeed relatively substantial but it reuses many already seen elements and does not give pride of place to truly new versions of the different characters.

Note: The product shown here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at March 25, 2025 at 23:59 pm. Just post a comment under the article to participate. Your participation is taken into account regardless of your opinion. Avoid "I'm participating" or "I'm trying my luck", we suspect that this is the case.
