Today we take a quick tour of the content of the LEGO Marvel set 76343 Epic Battle: Hulkbuster vs. The Hulk, a box of 413 pieces currently available for pre-order on the official online store at a public price of €49,99 and which will be available from January 1, 2026.

This box is part of what LEGO calls "Epic Moment Collection"in the pages of the instruction booklet, which currently has two "official" volumes: this set and the reference 76334 Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman.

The manufacturer had already "tested" the principle of a fixed display installed on a stand with the sets 76280 Spider-Man vs. Sandman Final Battle76261 Spider-Man Final Battle76314 Captain America: Civil War Battle, 76291 The Avengers Assemble: Age of Ultron or, 76323 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle et 76266 Endgame Final Battle And it seems that the concept finds its audience among all those who want to get some minifigs to stage but don't want to be burdened with the usual children's playsets.

The aim here is to recreate the scene of the confrontation between the Hulkbuster and Hulk seen on screen in the film. Avengers: Age of UltronWhy not? It's a chance to get a new version of the Hulkbuster, and you have to admit, this one has a few things going for it. It's more detailed than the versions in the sets. 76031 The HulkBuster Smash (2015) et 76104 The Hulkbuster Smash-up (2018) even though I prefer the set version 76247 The Hulkbuster: The Battle of Wakanda marketed in 2023.

This new version of the armor features some articulation at the shoulders, hips, and feet, as well as a rotating torso, but the elbows and knees are fixed. No big deal; the figure is destined to end its run displayed on a stand with a support designed to suspend this Hulkbuster. Iron Man can be placed inside Iron Man, with an easily accessible control station, and there's even an interchangeable hand to pose the Lightning Fist.

The armor's breastplate, in my opinion, lacks detail; it's bulky and somewhat empty as it is, and two stickers could have visually improved things. The same goes for the repulsors on the palms of the armor's hands: they're a bit too crude, even at this scale.

The setting for the confrontation is relatively simple: a tiny section of street, some debris, a bit of street furniture, and enough to give height and volume to the scene, which reaches a height of about twenty centimeters. It's well thought out; the two protagonists are truly immersed in the situation, with the duel clearly visible from all angles.

A Tile The printed image affixed to the black base confirms that the scene is indeed inspired by the film Avengers: Age of Ultron. A piece of vehicle wreckage could have been added to truly place the scene in its context, but it seems the budget allocated to this product didn't allow for more elaborate staging while remaining within the €49,99 retail price.

The essential sticker sheet allows you to slightly improve the finish of the Hulkbuster and decorate two road signs. Was a sticker really necessary for a "no entry" sign that could have been pad-printed and reused in many other sets? That's debatable.

Alongside the main build, this set includes two minifigures: Hulk and Iron Man. Hulk's body is the same one already seen in the set. 76291 The Avengers Assemble: Age of Ultron And that makes sense, since both products are inspired by the same film in the saga. The character's head included here, however, is unique, featuring a very successful and energetic pad printing design. Yet another variation for Ribba collectors' frames.

The Iron Man minifigure comes with his helmet but without additional hair for Tony Stark. That's a bit stingy. The Mark 43 armor reuses the torso and legs already seen in other sets since 2024, but here it benefits from pad-printed arms with a design that really covers the printed parts very well.

The head placed under the helmet is also very well done, which makes the lack of hair in this set all the more disappointing. This figure is therefore unique in the LEGO catalog in this form, and collectors will find it hard to pass up this variant with its highly refined design.

I'm not sure if this type of product truly deserves to be considered a display model or if it's simply a child's toy with a storage solution between play sessions. The scene is undeniably epic, but the product itself is perhaps a little less so, with a very minimalist design and a Hulkbuster that, in my opinion, is still not the final version expected at this scale.

With a starting retail price of €50, this derivative product should be available for around €40 elsewhere than at LEGO; this will be the price to pay to obtain the two new figurines in this form and the few hundred pieces that go with them.
