Review: LEGO Star Wars 40765 Kamino Training Facility

Today we are quickly interested in the content of the LEGO Star Wars set 40765 Kamino Training Facility, a small box of 190 pieces which will be offered on the Shop from 160 € of purchase in products from the LEGO Star Wars range from May 1 to 5, 2025. LEGO values ​​this set at 29,99 €, it's a bit pretentious.

Let's not lie, it's meager for a free product even if the subject matter covered here will definitely please some fans. The contents of the box are a direct reference to Episode II of the Star Wars saga, Attack of the Clones, with cadets in uniform and a small flying vehicle, the KE-8 Enforcer which can accommodate a minifig but which unfortunately comes without its pilot. The whole thing is packaged in a pseudo training scene, the Clones' outfit then no longer being the right one in this context, and we cannot say that this product is of extreme density.

The ship is quickly assembled, it's ultra-simplified and not very inspired with a cockpit without controls, a somewhat sad white color and the impossibility of presenting the thing in flight position in the absence of a suitable support. The two accessories symbolizing the training session of the three Clones are also disarmingly simple, nothing to get excited about the "rack" provided for the weapons or the turret.

Nor is it a training center for clones, especially when the contents of the product are no longer displayed as is the case on the box with the pretty illustrated background of the packaging which creates context.

For those who might be wondering, the three minifigs included in this box are completely identical, even though LEGO is careful to leave no doubt about it by separating them on the front of the box due to their individual weapons. Special mention should be made of the pad-printed arms and the two-color injected legs; we console ourselves as best we can.

The cute new minifigure included in this box could have filled a polybag on its own, offered for much less than the €160 LEGO is asking for this product. Collectors would have been thrilled, even those who don't have a high budget to regularly treat themselves. As it stands, it's just filler for an otherwise interesting theme, but we can't say that LEGO is treating the Kamino theme as it deserves with this derivative product with its meager content.

In any case, it will be up to everyone to decide whether this promotional product, which allows you to obtain three copies of a Clone in a new outfit from LEGO, is worth paying a high price for some new items from the LEGO Star Wars range via the official online store.
