LEGO Star Wars Red Five rocket with minifigures and accessories, ideal for collectors and fans of the saga, detailed construction and authentic design.

Today we take a quick tour of the content of the LEGO Star Wars set 75401 Ahsoka's Jedi Interceptor, a box of 290 pieces marketed since January 1, 2025 at the public price of €44,99.

The Jedi Interceptor is a regular in the Star Wars range, each new version brings its share of improvements or regressions. This new version of the Eta-2 inspired by the ship briefly seen in the 17th season of the animated series The Clone Wars is not without merit in my opinion, it can be associated with that of the set 75281 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor (248 pieces - €29,99) marketed in 2020 without having to blush in order to have a little fun. The latter was for the record delivered with one less figurine, it only allowed to obtain Anakin and R2-D2.

The cockpit here benefits from a nicely pad-printed canopy even if the white border is a little gray and contrasts with the other white areas of the ship based on parts and I find the overall finish better than on Anakin's Interceptor from 5 years ago. Unfortunately, the set makes intensive use of stickers and for €45 we could legitimately expect a little more pad printing.

The wings are well executed, they are thick and textured enough not to seem to be thought of economically. However, it will be up to each person to appreciate the interest of the layers of parts on the wing surfaces with a rendering that could seem a little crude in places for some fans. Two Spring-Shooters are installed under the vessel, they can easily be removed to obtain an exhibition model freed from its playful attributes.

LEGO didn't plan anything to put the ship in flight position, it doesn't hold on the deployed wing extensions. However, a few pieces were enough to put the thing in suspension. The stickers used on the wings are roughly consistent in terms of colors, which is nice. We can see the patterns seen on the ship from the animated series, and all the important elements are present, such as the two cannons placed on the central edge of the wings.

Ultimately I don't find much to complain about here, LEGO did their homework and the end result seems perfectly acceptable to me.

LEGO Star Wars Resistance X-Wing vehicle, precision-built LEGO brick model, ideal for collectors and science fiction fans.

As for the three figurines provided, the endowment seems very convincing to me with an Ahsoka Tano with short and articulated legs very successful even if the arms are not pad printed. Anakin wears the outfit also seen in the set 75281 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor without the tears and with a pair of tampografied legs. The R7-A7 astromech droid is true to the version seen on screen, it is perfect when placed in the slot provided on the left wing of the ship.

We could be offended by the public price of this small box of less than 300 pieces but we all already know that it is already possible to find this set cheaper elsewhere than at LEGO. At around €35/40, the compromise already seems much more acceptable for a nice ship with some nice figurines and despite the plethora of stickers to stick on the wings. The design of the ship seems convincing to me and in any case sufficiently faithful to the version seen in the series for a model at this scale. It just lacks something to really show it off on a shelf.
