Today we take a quick tour of the content of the LEGO Star Wars set 75407 Brick-Built Star Wars Logo, a box of 700 pieces which will be available from May 1, 2025 via the official online store at the public price of €69,99.
I won't draw you a picture, it's simply a matter of assembling the franchise logo, but the exercise is a little different from the other logo already available since the beginning of the year, that of the Marvel franchise in the LEGO Marvel set. 76313 Marvel Logo & Minifigures (931 pieces - €99,99): LEGO then chose to make the Marvel logo an exhibition product that also becomes a toy by featuring a few minifigs via several mechanisms integrated into the construction.
The Star Wars logo buildable here ignores these possibilities and is simply...a buildable logo with no internal embellishments apart from the hidden micro scene in the letter T which highlights the Tantive IV being pursued by a Star Destroyer as in the opening sequence of the 1977 film.
For the rest, it is rather very well executed with letters faithful to the font of the official logo and a black background which highlights some finishing details in contrast with the smooth appearance of the letters. The Star Wars mention is visible on both sides of the product with a fairly convincing 3D effect which will eventually allow an exhibition at an angle on a shelf or in front of a series of books stored in a library.
The object measures 30 cm long, 13 cm high and 3 cm thick, which is enough to make it an easily identifiable construction without invading the space dedicated to its exhibition.
I won't spoil the different stages of construction for you, there is a very satisfying side to discovering how the letters are designed and how the whole thing gradually takes shape to become the pretty logo promised. Save the pleasure of discovering all that for after spending the amount requested by LEGO, I don't think that the construction process is an argument here impacting the decision to buy or not this set.

LEGO is asking €70 for this derivative product sold without any figurines, it's undoubtedly a little expensive for what the set has to offer in its current state and I would have appreciated the presence of one or two emblematic characters from the saga even if they had to be hidden in the lettering to store them. The fact remains that the strong potential of the product is evident when it comes to displaying it, that's also what you have to pay the full price for.
Also keep in mind that if the concept product escapes you a little, it's because you're not the target audience. This set appeals to a clientele who loves the Star Wars franchise but who doesn't necessarily want to clutter up with ships or vehicles and other dioramas. Simply being able to display this pretty, impeccably finished logo in front of a selection of Blu-rays lined up on a shelf will delight many fans of the saga who aren't necessarily die-hard LEGO fans.
With a little patience, it will soon be possible to pay a little less for this box than the public price set by LEGO, but if you plan to acquire it as soon as it is launched on May 1, 2025, you can always console yourself with the promotional offers planned for the annual operation. May the 4th.
