Today we take a quick tour of the content of the LEGO Star Wars set 75432 V-19 Torrent Starfighter, a box of 567 pieces currently available for pre-order on the official online store at the public price of €64,99 and which will be available from August 1, 2025.

This product finally takes over from the set 7674 V-19 Torrent marketed between 2008 and 2009 and water has flowed under the bridge since the first version of this ship. We can always try to compare the two products and conclude that "it was better before", fans will not really have the choice between the two versions anyway and will have to make do with this compact ship which is logically only a simple toy for children.

If we forget the format of this new product which could almost pass for a "Super Microfighter" A little chibi, there remains a rather interesting assembly process with the integration of the rear wing deployment and rotation axes of the two wings and the construction of a rather plush fuselage.

The final product is dense, balanced and easy to hold and manipulate, and this toy seems to me to be perfectly sized for children's hands. It's paradoxical, the very thick side of the wings and the inflated appearance of the fuselage contribute to giving the impression of getting value for money with a product that in reality is sold too expensive for what it has to offer.

No stand to be able to store and display this ship in flight position on a shelf between two play sessions, it's a bit of a shame. For collectors who want to be satisfied with this version while waiting for the ultimate model which will probably never arrive, it will therefore be necessary to tinker with something to hold the ship and to do it in a way a little more discreet than the one I used here or to resolve to present the thing in position on the ground with its visible counter-pins under the raised wings.

The sticker sheet imposed in this box remains relatively modest, nothing serious except for the usual difference in shade between the white of the background of the stickers and the cream-colored shade of the parts on which they are installed.

It is known that LEGO has undertaken to significantly reduce the scale of many of its products, this is shrinkflation with Danish sauce and you have to deal with it. This ship is no exception to the rule but it still retains the attributes that make it immediately recognizable.

As for the three minifigs provided, the new version of Asajj Ventress is obviously welcome after the catastrophic figurines in The Clone Wars version with their big eyes marketed in 2008 and 2011 and the figurine of 2015 in version Legends. Too bad about the white area turning gray at torso level because LEGO always refuses to put two layers of ink.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is quite successful here with a very detailed outfit and an effort at pad printing on the arms and this figurine finally takes over from the 2008 version with its big failed eyes. The Clone pilot in Phase 1 with his helmet finally conforming is also very successful, it is a nice more detailed evolution of the 2008 version.

Please note that the front of the Clone Pilot helmet delivered here is not pad printed like the 3D rendering on the product sheet online on the official store and that's a bit of a shame. The virtual version of the figurine seems a bit more accomplished than the "real" figurine I have in my hands.

In short, this compact-looking toy should please fans of the series. Star Wars: The Clone Wars that weren't in their LEGO Store in 2008 and we can at least salute the effective design of the product in the absence of obtaining a V-19 Torrent of the magnitude of the previous version. The trio of characters that accompany the ship will sway those who hesitate, LEGO knows how to convince the most recalcitrant to pay.
