LEGO DC Batman The Batmobile - Toy Car - Superhero Collector Model with Minifigure - Birthday Gift for Boys
Today we are quickly interested in the content of the LEGO Star Wars set 75433 Jango Fett's Starship, a box of 707 pieces available since August 1, 2025 on the official online store and elsewhere at the public price of €69,99.
After the marketing since May 2025 of the LEGO Star Wars set Ultimate Collector Series 75409 Jango Fett's Starship (2970 pieces - €299,99) which targets an adult collector clientele, LEGO is taking a more modest but also more playful approach to the same subject aimed at a younger audience. This Slav I, which no longer says its name, has the false air of Super Microfighter It's only 21cm long but still has a few niceties that should allow kids to have a bit of fun.
The cockpit is accessible and you can install the two figurines there with the added bonus of being able to leave Jango Fett's jetpack in place on the figurine, there are four Stud Shooters, it is possible to drop some seismic charges via the hatch provided for this purpose, the wings are automatically stabilized by gravity and the ship even has the luxury of having a retractable handle which allows you to grab it without breaking everything to make it fly.
The finish of the thing is quite acceptable despite a canopy which is not long enough to completely close the cockpit and the service trolley provided also serves as a display allowing the construction to be neatly displayed on the corner of a shelf between two play sessions.
The underside of the ship, which will be visible when it is stored, is quite detailed, and only five stickers are applied to the ship's hull. It's a shame that the one with a white background doesn't quite match the off-white color of the room it sits on.
LEGO includes three minifigures in this set: Jango Fett, Boba Fett, and Llama Su, the Prime Minister of Kamino. The Jango and Boba minifigures are from the set. 75409 Jango Fett's Starship, minus the pad-printed arms for the bounty hunter. It's logical and consistent, this reuse doesn't shock me.
Lama Su is therefore the only new figurine in this box with a nice pad printing and the usual technical defect of the white area printed on a black background and which therefore becomes gray. The minifig loses a little in finish, it's really a shame for a character who is not intended to end up in many sets of the range. Once again, the official visual of the figurine, abundantly retouched to erase this technical defect, is a little too optimistic.
This set is no exception to the current format change at LEGO, with more compact products sold in packaging with oversized visuals that are a bit misleading; you'll have to get used to it. This Slave I, however, is proof that it's still possible to take advantage of this reduced scale without overly reducing the product's finish and without sacrificing functionality. Being able to fit Jango and Boba together in such a compact ship, for example, is good news.
This unpretentious children's toy does quite well in my opinion, it ticks all the boxes of a finished product, playable and detailed enough to be displayed. At €70 per box, it's still a bit expensive for this very compact Slave I even if the construction experience remains entertaining, and new figurine or not, we will wait as usual to be able to find this box at a reasonable price elsewhere than at LEGO.
Note: The product shown here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at August 13, 2025 at 23:59 pm. Just post a comment under the article to participate. Your participation is taken into account regardless of your opinion. Avoid "I'm participating" or "I'm trying my luck", we suspect that this is the case.
