75448 lego starwars clone shock trooper mech review 1

Today we are very quickly interested in the content of the LEGO Star Wars set 75448 Clone Shock Trooper Mech, a small box of 151 pieces available since January 1, 2026 at the public price of €14,99.

LEGO continues to milk the concept of a mech paired with a minifigure that doesn't necessarily need one. There are already a significant number of sets based on the same principle in the LEGO Star Wars range, with half a dozen sets since 2023, DC with half a dozen sets since 2012, and Marvel with more than twenty products since 2019. This type of merchandise has clearly found its audience among younger fans, which is why LEGO is still pushing the concept in 2026.

Here, the model is based on a Clone Shock Trooper, adopting its design and armor colors. It's quite well done, if you overlook the fixed knees and elbows, as well as the clearly visible gray kneecaps. While the usefulness of having a mech at hand for the character in question can often be questioned, especially if the hero has superpowers, this particular version doesn't seem entirely out of place.

The figure can store its blaster in the back of the build and can use the large blaster attached to the mech's right hand with its Stud Shooter Integrated. No stickers in this box, so the mech's chest plate is pad-printed.

For those wondering, the included Clone Shock Trooper minifigure isn't new; it's the same one that's already been seen in LEGO Star Wars sets. 75354 Coruscant Guard Gunship (2023) et 75372 Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack (2024)

It's certainly not the product of the year, but this mech in Clone Shock Trooper colors isn't the most controversial in this sub-range, which is regularly updated with new releases. Younger children will likely find it appealing, and parents can minimize the financial impact when this product becomes available elsewhere for around ten euros.

Note: The product shown here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at 29th January 2026 at 23:59 p.m. Simply post a comment below the article to participate.
