75449 lego starwars siege of mandalore batlle pack review 1

Today we take a quick tour of the content of the LEGO Star Wars set 75449 Siege of Mandalore Battle Pack, a small box of 166 pieces available since January 1, 2026 at a public price of €19,99 at LEGO and for a little less elsewhere.

You are probably already familiar with the principle of these "Battle Packs"For LEGO, this is about finding a pretext to stay within the rules of a construction toy while allowing the most motivated fans to create a small army at minimal cost. Here, we get two Mandalorian commandos on one side and two Clone Troopers from the 332nd Company on the other."

To wrap it all up, LEGO, as usual, provides two buildable items: a Speeder vaguely reminiscent of The Mandalorian, albeit a bit sloppy, and a firing post with a barrier and a rock. For a bit of fun, LEGO includes two Stud ShootersThat's something, especially at €20 a box.

The two Mandalorian commandos are new and, above all, different, even if their armor is both a bit too drab for my taste. The printing is decent; it probably lacks a bit of contrast, but we'll make do.

The helmets are well done, and LEGO has put a lot of effort into the leg printing, though they neglected the arms, which could have benefited from some detailing as well. Both commandos are equipped with jetpacks, just like in the confrontation seen in the animated series. The Clone Wars.

The two Clone Troopers of the 332nd Company are identical, which is expected since this is a Battle Pack which should in principle allow you to accumulate copies of these figurines to then integrate them into a large battle or to line them up on a base plate before showing off on Instagram with them.

These minifigures are identical to those already seen in the LEGO Star Wars set. 75359 Ahsoka's 332 Company Clone Troopers Battle Pack in 2023, but the various elements that compose them—helmet, torso, and legs—bear new references. No jetpacks for the two Clone Troopers.

One might wonder if LEGO wouldn't have been better off simply including four Mandalorian Super Commandos in this small box, given that the most dedicated fans probably already have a good number of these Clone Troopers in their dioramas from the set 75359 Ahsoka's 332 Company Clone Troopers Battle PackThe absence of a confrontation would have allowed us to save the barrier and the rock and to devote a few more pieces to finishing the Speeder which seems as if it has a piece missing from the front.

In short, this little set is certainly not without merit; it offers something to do without having to spend more money, but it somewhat loses the sense of... Battle Pack as one often imagines it with four figurines of a single faction.
