Drouot Volume 3 Lego Auction Sale

If you enjoy the thrill of auctions and LEGO products, you should know that the renowned Drouot auction house is currently holding another sale entirely dedicated to the brand, this time featuring 136 lots including some exceptional pieces such as sets from the LEGOLAND range in Classic Space, Ice Planet, Spyrius, Space Police, Mtron, and Blacktron, as well as Model Team sets, monorail sets, LEGO Studios sets, Modular Buildings, and more recent sets. There's even a LEGO set included. 40489 Mr. and Mrs. Claus' Living Room, a box dating from 2021 that was never commercially released.

New to this sale are some rather surprising MOCs (My Own Creations), including some lovely creations as well as very old official LEGO products such as wooden boxes or plastic vehicles dating back to the 60s. In the worst-case scenario, and even if you're allergic to the concept of auctions, go and take a look at the various lots for sale.

Please note, we are talking about auctions in the most traditional format and not the version we are all familiar with, such as those on eBay, Catawiki, and the like. The starting prices displayed on the current sale are the reserve prices, so there will be no nasty surprises at the end, as is often the case with sales that start at the symbolic price of one euro with reserve prices that are unknown and sometimes mind-boggling.

If you're interested in the adventure, you'll first need to register on the platform, and then you can place your bids on the various lots available. Upon exit, you'll have to pay a fee of 12,5% of the sale amount, and everything is included in these fees (VAT, commissions, etc.).

The DAGOTY house which manages the sale will also take care of the logistics to allow you to receive your lot in the best conditions, we are talking here about participants who are experienced in the exercise of auctioning collectible products and who know that the condition of the packaging is essential when it comes to LEGO sets.

You have until December 7, 2025 at 19:00 PM to place your bids online and try to win the set that might be missing from your collection. The product photos illustrating each lot are actual photos of the set in question, allowing you to spot any potential packaging defects. The descriptions clearly state whether the products are new and sealed or not; you will receive exactly what you see.

Collection of lots on site will also be possible in Brussels by appointment. If needed, you can contact the sales manager at +0032 483 523 466 or by email at info@dagotyauction.com.

Be careful, the principle of auctions can quickly become addictive and put you in a situation where your desire to win a lot takes you a little too far financially.

I know that this type of sale is not everyone's cup of tea, but the two previous sales easily found their audience and some of the site's readers even confirmed to me that they had won some lots that interested them at a reasonable final price.
