10179 Millennium Falcon Auction: Sold, Sold!

To follow to relax this weekend: This auction on the catawiki site (??) which defines itself as "THE site for buying and selling collectibles"of a new and sealed 10179 Millennium Falcon UCS set which is already at € 3400 at the time of this writing and the reserve price set by the seller has not yet been reached.

The expert who estimated this lot gives a range between € 4550 and € 6550 and I suppose that the bidders will go out of their way to try to get this box while still doing "a good deal" ...

Note that according to the photos, it is not even a Limited First Edition numbered accompanied by its certificate.

In addition to this "show" sale, it is still possible to get this set for a more reasonable price on eBay where a few new copies are regularly put on sale. Auctions are also often carried away on eBay and we logically stay well above the public price of this set when it was still marketed (549 €), but with a little perseverance and patience, the potential buyer eager to affording this exceptional box may however limit breakage ...
