As I am still waiting to receive my copies ordered from the USA of this bag which we are not likely to see in our countries anytime soon, I am taking advantage of the magnificent photos offered by stick_kim on his flickr gallery to talk briefly again about the new Batman mask.
Some are already seeing this new accessory as a thinly veiled announcement of a version based on the third installment of The Dark Knight saga, due out this summer. However, the exclusive minifigure, clearly inspired by the Nolan films and distributed at San Diego Comic-Con in 2011, featured the mask design we've all known for years.
So simple update of an accessory which was singularly lacking in finesse and which deserves to be reviewed and redesigned or marketing of a new version which foreshadows the arrival of Batman-Bale in the form of a set this summer?
