75059 Sandcrawler: First visual

seen on flickr (Gallery of kjavis88), this first visual of the set 75059 Sandcrawler which is due to be presented by LEGO next weekend. The above image probably comes from the new edition of the DK book LEGO Star Wars The Visual Dictionary - Updated & Expanded whose release is announced for early May.

Unlike its predecessor in the LEGO range, the 10144 set released in 2005, this new version gives pride of place to visible studs and plates.

At first glance, the proportions of the machine seem rather correct, the cockpit, seen from the outside, is a little too simplified for my taste and Owen Lars and the two jawas are welcome ...

We will have to wait for the official images to find out what LEGO has in store for us inside this machine.
