7879 Hoth Echo Base: The visual in high def

You have seen this visual before, but this time you can access a high resolution version (by clicking on the image opposite) and enjoy all the details of this already very controversial set even before its official release.

It will be noted that Leia is holding an ice cream which one wonders what she is doing there, except if it is a wink from LEGO. On the minifig side, Luke is well screen printed, and this minifig, despite its limited use in the context of the Bacta Tank, will delight collectors.

For the rest, nothing new that has not already been said: It is clearly a playset intended for the youngest and not a reproduction of a place or a scene seen in the film. However, a Snowspeeder wouldn't have been too much, although we all already have a slew of them in our collection. We will also regret the use once again of stickers instead of screen-printed parts, especially in a playset where their lifespan will be extremely short.
