Here are some new views of the X-Wing from set 9493 X-Wing Starfighter, giving a better look at the lines of this iconic Star Wars ship. We see the familiar wing deployment mechanism, complete with the inevitable rubber bands, which always reminds me a bit of a cheap, low-quality Chinese toy.
Viewed from these different angles, we are still dealing with a well-designed ship, without any fancy features, but which should satisfy X-Wing fans who have not yet grown tired of the different editions and allow those who do not yet own it to obtain it at an almost reasonable price.
Visually, I find that this X-Wing remains very similar to that of set 6212 X-Wing Fighter released in 2006, even if in terms of design there are some interesting innovations allowing to refine the overall line of this ship a little more.
