Brick Sketch: Man in the Iron Mask by Chris McVeigh

If you follow the facebook pages of Hoth Bricks ou Brick Heroes, you have already been able to discover this magnificent series of "coloring" based on LEGO proposed by Chris McVeigh, a brilliant type that you already know for his Christmas ornaments in the shape of Death Star, Millennium Falcon or Tie Fighter (See these articles).

The idea of reproducing some famous characters in this form is quite simply brilliant, it is a real breath of freshness in the middle of the usual MOCs and the presence of "pencils" reinforces the coloring / drawing aspect. All of this is obviously superbly photographed.

Don't be fooled by the apparent simplicity of the exercise, I challenge you to do just as well with a few coins. I tried on my side, I already gave up ...

No need to go into more superlatives on the subject, just take a look at the flickr gallery of the gentleman is essential.

Christmas at The Skywalkers by Chris McVeigh

To end this December 25 in style, here are two superb thumbnails of Chris McVeigh, the creator of Christmas balls in the shape of Death Star. He offers us here a nice scene which originally features Luke, Leia and the head of Darth Vader at the top of the tree.

Following the comments of Internet users, Chris McVeigh remade the photo with the head of C-3PO. He did not use the new minifigure from the 9490 set, as this shot might lead one to believe, but C-3PO's eyes have been retouched to embody this new minifigure.
