lego starwars may4th tantive micro animation stores

In addition to the offers offered as part of the May the 4th operation (VIP Points x2, set 40333 Battle of Hoth and VIP poster offered, reduction on various LEGO Star Wars sets), LEGO will offer on May 3 from 16 p.m. to 00 p.m. a "creative workshop" in the LEGO Stores which will allow you to leave with the mini Tantive IV above.

It is a priori not necessary to register, you just have to go to the participating stores at the scheduled time and play elbows with the eBay sellers who will be sure to go there because it is free and that the bag of parts accompanied by its paper instructions is easily resold.

I did not find any age restriction to participate in this animation, but if you really look like AFOL just came to be offered something, do not hesitate to be accompanied by a two young people fans and to play the disinterested parent while the kids are winning.

For flawless credibility, add a few thoughts out loud like ".... Oh, these young Star Wars fans, they were so excited to participate in this animation that I dedicated myself to accompany them ..."Do not be ashamed, others will do as you and you can even exchange a knowing wink with other benevolent" parents ".

More seriously, I find this mini Tantive IV very successful. If you have the opportunity to go to a LEGO Store for this animation and you are not interested in this model more than that, you know where to find me.

40333 Battle of Hoth (20th Anniversary)

Official visuals for the LEGO Star Wars set 40333 Battle of Hoth (20th Anniversary) are now online at LEGO and I remind you that this small box of 195 pieces will be offered from 75 € purchase in products from the LEGO Star Wars range from May 3 to 6, 2019.

No minifig, exclusive or not, inside the box and that's a shame. Even if the proposed construction is very successful, the absence of a minifig matching with those already present in the various boxes in the colors of the 20th anniversary of the LEGO range would have convinced more fans to pay a high price for their sets on the official online store of the manufacturer.

Either way, it's always better than a simple polybag. As a good compulsive collector, I will therefore make the effort to get this little set with its four-element shield generator like in the movie, which will make me forget the three-element version of the set. 75098 Assault on Hoth...

30383 Naboo Starfighter

There will be a polybag offered during the next annual commercial event May the 4th which will take place from May 3 to 6, 2019: it is the reference 30383 Naboo Starfighter which this year will take on the role of the bag offered on condition of purchase.

The good news (for some): It does not have an exclusive minifigure (the R2-D2 mini-micro does not count) in this bag of 48 pieces which offers to assemble a version of the Naboo Starfighter more fun than the one seen in the Planet Series set 9674 Naboo Starfighter & Naboo (2012). There is also nothing to make a "review" of three pages. It's quickly assembled, it's cute, it collects dust on a shelf for a few weeks and it ends up loose from the bottom of a drawer. Done.

The bad news (for others): There is no exclusive minifigure in this bag which will only be offered in the LEGO Stores and from 35 € of purchase in products from the LEGO Star Wars range. It will therefore not be available online via the official LEGO store. The offer will obviously be cumulative with the one that will allow you to obtain the set 40333 Battle of Hoth from € 75 of purchase from May 3 to 6 (just May 3 in fact, afterwards it's too late ...).

I am also told that this polybag, which is not even in the colors of the 20th anniversary range, will be available elsewhere later. If your nearest LEGO Store is already too far away, save the gasoline and toll money for something else and be patient.

Note: The polybag shown here, supplied by LEGO, is used as usual. To participate in the raffle, simply post a comment on this article before May 2, 2019 at 23:59 p.m.. You have every right to disagree with me, this is not eliminatory.

Update : The winner was drawn and was notified by email, his nickname is indicated below. Without a response from him to my request for contact details within 5 days, a new winner will be drawn.

40333 Battle of Hoth (20th Anniversary Edition)

We now know the promotional product that will be offered by LEGO under the condition of purchase during the annual meeting. May the Fourth : this is the set 40333 Battle of Hoth (2nd Anniversary Edition) which offers a micro recreation of the Battle of Hoth with two Snowspeeders, an AT-AT and a generator, all on a snowy base flanked by a small pad printed with the usual logo.

The packaging is on the same theme as the sets and other polybags already on the market to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the LEGO Star Wars range and collectors who strive to bring together everything related to this anniversary will therefore not be able to make the dead end on this little set.

No minifig (exclusive or not) in this box, the price on the secondary market should be affected and those who do not want to spend € 65 or € 75 on the LEGO Shop should be able to get this pretty little box separately at a relatively reasonable price.

More info on the conditions and duration of the offer in the coming days.

May the 4th contest: some details about participation

Some details following requests received by email: You can participate every day in the current competition on the site.

Each participation (four tickets maximum) will increase your chances of winning. To accumulate these four participations, you must answer the four questions that are asked (the question changes every day around midnight) and you obviously have to provide the correct answer to each of the questions (this is not very difficult).

In short, if you only enter once, you get a chance to win. If you answer each question correctly, you quadruple your chances of winning. It's simple, basic.

I say it again because some obviously did not understand and I have already had to delete a few hundred comments from distracted competitors (darlings and loulous, children with rare diseases and at the end of life, grandparents concerned about well-being of their grandchildren, etc ...): No participation via comments.

It is not worth writing to me either to offer to buy back the lots at half of their public price. I don't eat this bread there.

The third question will be online in a few hours and this time you will need to be insightful and show the full extent of your LEGO culture to find the right answer ...
