Amazon

It is not about LEGO products, but the incident could sooner or later concern the AFOLs which order at amazon and who legitimately expect a product in perfect condition upon delivery: Amazon has just responded to complaints from its customers who have ordered a product from the Hasbro range, the Slave I Exclusive, and who received it in very poor condition (damaged box), or incomplete (absence of the additional white protective packaging provided by Hasbro). Some customers did not hesitate to post their photos directly on the product sheet, while the discontent mounted on the various forums of collectors.

Following the many complaints from disappointed customers, Amazon quickly corrected the situation and a mention indicating that the problem has been taken into account is currently present on the product sheet in question : "... This item is currently unavailable because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it's described here. (Thanks for the tip!) We're working to fix the problem as quickly as possible ..."

This is a great example of responsiveness and LEGO fans who regularly face similar issues with damaged boxes should not hesitate to contact Amazon to express their disappointment. I myself received a very damaged package from Amazon Spain a few months ago, and a simple complaint allowed me to obtain the replacement of the crushed boxes, after returning the incriminated package at the expense of the teaches.

We all know that LEGO boxes, often full of "empty" boxes, do not support being transported in an unsuitable packaging. If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to report your disappointment to customer service. The delivery people are not always very "tender" with our sets and a complaint accompanied by a few photos of the damaged content will generally allow you to win your case quickly.

Regarding complaints made on European versions of Amazon (Spain, Italy, Germany or Great Britain), a simple translation of your complaint into the language concerned via Google Translate will suffice, take my word for it.
