Many of you have indicated in the comments that it is impossible as of today to order from amazon.it requesting delivery to France.
So I contacted the company twice, and the first explanation I was given seemed unconvincing: LEGO had asked amazon.it to stop delivering elsewhere in Europe because of unfair competition and angry merchants.
So I went back to fishing for information and insisting not to be showered with commercial nonsense, I had another contact who denied me the previous argument and gave me a much more plausible explanation.
Amazon.it has decided to stop deliveries of LEGO products in Europe because the company has just realized that it is a victim of the scam I told you about in this article a few weeks ago.
To put it simply, sellers are posting LEGO products on eBay at attractive prices in order to attract the barge (10188 Death Star, etc ...).
The seller then orders the product from LEGO or amazon with a stolen credit card by requesting delivery to his buyer's eBay address. Amazon.it has therefore decided to temporarily block shipments to Europe so as not to accumulate even more unpaid bills.
No information about the duration of this blockade.
