facebook lego launch

The cool thing about LEGO is that the company only needs to move a finger for the butterfly effect to work at full speed and for this innocuous movement to turn into an international event. A bit like with Apple or any company that benefits from a community of unconditional fans ready to quickly spread the holy word.

The buzz of the day, which in my opinion should have remained at the information stage of no great interest, is - hold on tight, it's mind-blowing - the addition by LEGO of two dozen "stickers" Facebook in the form of minifigs to use in your conversations via the discussion tool integrated into the social network.

I took, out of simple curiosity, the time to observe the spread of the information: First of all on facebook obviously with a horde of fans expressing their immense satisfaction with great reinforcements of various and varied onomatopoeias, then on Twitter where all community managers of the brand more or less disguised as twitter lambdas took turns to disseminate the information, then finally on many blogs which had the most serious of the world laid their report of this event.

Well, I know that when you love, you are interested in everything that has a direct or distant connection with the brand or the product that you like. But you have to know how to stay reasonable even if I myself am generally a good audience when it comes to LEGO and I am currently participating in my own way in the amplification of this global launch of some Facebook icons ...

Especially since there are many other things to discover these days that should make you want to give LEGO this holiday season, between the LEGO car that runs on air, CERN, which is taking advantage of the brand's popularity to launch his virtual treasure hunt,  the latest incredible MOC of 200.000 pieces proposed Alice Finch who at the same time became the new communication manager at Bricklinkthis image Legends of Chima minifigs planned for 2014 uploaded by Brickset on his flickr gallery ou Mirror article (The online version of the Daily Mirror) on LEGO The Simspons minifigs for sale on eBay (See also on Springfield Bricks) ...

On the TV side, two reports, the first in the TF13 news at 00:1 p.m., the second in the 12/13 of France 3 Alsace (from 10:50).

You will understand, these few lines crossed with a little bad faith are above all a way to summarize for you what is happening at the moment on the LEGO planet.

I'm off to see the Sorcerer's Apprentice with Nicolas Cage, that will change my mind.
