Brick A Dole 2017: the MOCeurs of LUG'Est reinvent Paris

Mark your diaries for the next edition of the LEGO exhibition Brick A Dole organized by the association LUG'Est which will take place on October 21 and 22.

There will only be LEGO and uchronie and the Steampunk this year will be in the spotlight with a rather original collaborative diorama, the pitch of which I let you discover below:

Paris 1889.
After World War 3 Against the Vampires, world leaders gathered in Paris to join forces against evil.
America, at the center of this latest conflict, is counting its dead; the continent has lost 3/4 of its population and Europe has just voted for a major financial support plan to restore its ally. Asia, dominated by China, begins the immense project to extend the Great Wall to Moscow. Africa is now united (historic alliance of northern and southern states); the continent, the cradle of humanity, maintains its neutrality in the conflict (having no casualties) and is now the world's leading economic power.
In France, religions have all been abolished. The new dogmas are now based on the scientific approach, engineering, mathematics, physics and chemistry. The new “gods” are Newton, Tesla, Edison, Jules Verne ... A major project led by Count Haussmann takes over all the monuments of Paris to readapt them to the new dogma.
Inequalities have increased and a new substance has appeared in the lowlands of Paris, the blue “mète”: each bar, a shabby seedy hotel, place of pleasure ... has its own manufacturing system. Drugs are spreading inexorably throughout the capital.
The police are planning to bring the great Sherlock Holmes in person from London to trace the source of the phenomenon.
In the shadows, lost souls seek new hope; we are talking about a New Order which condemns debauchery, lust and money ...

The event will bring together more than 80 exhibitors who will unveil many other dioramas on a wide variety of themes (Star Wars, Disney, etc.). The 2016 edition had already set the bar very high in terms of creativity, the MOCeurs surpassed themselves to offer an even more spectacular experience to the visitors expected this year.

If the nicknames pistash, BeaverTroy or even Redfern1950s tell you something, you know what to expect. If these strange names are still unknown to you, it is urgent to discover their know-how.

To make your mouth water a little more, you will find below some unseen views of the highly anticipated Paris1889 diorama.

Meet on Saturday October 21 and Sunday October 22, 2017 at the Mont-Roland sports complex, 55 boulevard Wilson (39000 Dole). It's free for children under 5, € 2 for minors, € 3 for adults.

I'll be there on Saturday with a few Hoth Bricks minifigs in my pockets. We'll see each other there.
