The lounge BrickCon 2011 was held in Seattle (USA) on October 1 and 2, 2011. Unmissable gathering of MOCeurs of all kinds, this show is also an opportunity to sometimes see some rather crazy or even a little ridiculous achievements ....
This year, it is the AT-AT which paid the price for the delusions of MOCeurs not necessarily very inspired, but which at least have the merit of having brought a touch of originality to this machine seen and reviewed in the sets. LEGO for over 10 years.
For the record, the AT-AT is present in the LEGO range in the form of sets System et Minis with the following references: 4483 (released in 2003), 10178 (Motorized version from 2007), 8129 (released in 2010) and two minis with references 4489 (released in 2003) et 20018 (BrickMaster set released in 2010).
On the program of these MOCs, an AT-AT in version Blacktron (The most successful) in homage to the range of the same name which became cult in the 1990s among the less young AFOLs among us, an AT-AT in cat version (CAT-AT), another dressed in greenery (Plant -AT) and finally the zany AT-AT porcupine (Porcupine-AT).
If you want to see more images from BrickCon 2011, go to this flickr gallery (or another, there are dozens of them on flickr ...).
