Things are on the move at Bricklink with the partial launch of the Bricklink MOC Shop I told you about at the beginning of March: MOCeurs can submit their creations and sellers will very soon be able to offer these MOCs for sale in their inventory.

Uploading this space also gives us a preview of what the next version of Bricklink will be. Sleek design, new logo, Bricklink 2.0 is getting a welcome facelift that should allow it to attract a wider audience and customers who until now did not necessarily trust this marketplace which seemed frozen in the 90s.

The sale of MOCs is nothing new, some artists are already marketing their creations via their own website, via Flickr or Etsy, and others are working on demand on behalf of companies who want for example a LEGO version of their products or a reproduction of their LOGO. The arrival of this Bricklink MOC Shop will allow them to gain visibility and collect some additional royalties (shared with Briclink which takes 30% of the amount of Design Fees and 5% of the total sale price of the MOC) by letting merchants registered on the platform sell their creations.
