Not content with offering us the ultimate Tumbler with the MOC I was just talking about recently , Calin aka CAB & Tiler ( see his flickr gallery ) reduces the format and goes to micro scale with this MOC presented as part of the competition organized by LUGNuts: LEGO Set Overhaulin' (54th Build Challenge).
The idea is to recreate a vehicle from an existing set, reinterpreting it with a personal touch, changing the scale up or down, etc. Calin has therefore tackled set 7888 The Tumbler: Joker's Ice Cream Surprise, released in 2008, and offers us a version that, in his own words, fits in your pocket. The result is interesting; it captures the spirit of the original set, but in miniature.
The Tumbler is excellent, the shapes are faithful to its big brother and we immediately recognize Batman's favorite vehicle. Calin even offers a variant of it in a camouflage version equipped with a rocket launcher on the roof like the one we will see in the next film in The Dark Knight trilogy (image below).
