Burglary at Republicattak: the LEGO community mobilizes

Several national media have already picked up the information and you probably already know that Louis aka Republicattak on Youtube has been broken into and almost all of his LEGO collection has been stolen from him, with criminals destroying his latest ongoing project. Back from a professional trip, he could only see the damage and he uploaded a video in which he does not hide his emotion and announces that he is definitely retiring from the legal life:

It did not take less for many fans to react, share this video on social networks, offer to help the YouTuber and even call on the manufacturer himself to try to boost the morale of this fan who regularly posts. videos of his constructions around the Star Wars universe. LEGO has already responded by indicating that it is studying different possibilities to help this YouTuber, much appreciated for his modesty, his passion for the Star Wars universe and his many creations.

A fundraising campaign has also been launched on GoFundMe and over $ 14.000 has already been raised. I will come back to this later.

Louis also uploaded a list of sets and lots of parts that have been stolen from him. Strangely enough, the visitors took only the LEGO products on board and obviously worked hard on the current project, leaving in the process the computer equipment and watches present in the house of Louis who calls anyone who locates advertisements suspect sales to contact him.

Regarding the fundraising campaign launched on the GoFundMe platform, it is an initiative of the YouTuber MandRproductions who also published a video to encourage his fans to help Republicattak to rebuild a stock of parts allowing him to resume his projects in progress and restart a collection of official sets:
