This image consists of the real version (on the right) of the TC-14 offered on May 4 and 5 on the LEGO Shop and a Chrome Gold version of the same minifig (on the left) which is none other than the fruit Photoshop work by Pray Yed...
But this stylistic exercise demonstrates that a Chrome Gold version of C-3PO would be a welcome addition to our collections. With this new design, the minifigure, limited to 10.000 copies and randomly inserted into certain LEGO Star Wars sets in 2007, would suddenly look incredibly dated...
If LEGO doesn't want to bring us this minifigure one day, a chrome R2-D2 would suit me just as well ...
