It's time to announce the name / nickname of the one who will receive the copy of the set LEGO Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon brought into play during the test published a few days ago.
I usually publish the name of the winner of each set put into play at the foot of the relevant article, but this contest more than deserved a separate announcement for the reason I detail below.
To be honest, a first winner drew lots, he was notified by email and he chose to skip his turn. This blog reader who wishes to remain anonymous asked me to put the set back into play, mentioning that he had already received his copy ordered on September 14 from the LEGO Shop. I still insisted on making sure I fully understood his decision and confirmed that he wished to forgo this gain, which was of considerable value.
Nice gesture on his part, he allows another reader to obtain this exceptional box. On the other hand, he does not pass his turn on the Hoth Bricks minifig, which I send him with pleasure. A second draw among all the comments was therefore made to designate the one who will receive the set.
Another detail, after long discussions, I was finally able to obtain from LEGO the replacement of the damaged instruction booklet. The winner will receive it directly at home by separate shipment. However, I could not do anything about the cardboard insert, which was also damaged. The set will exceptionally be sent by me via Chronopost with insurance at the actual value of the content (I usually ship the lots by Colissimo Monitoring with insurance).
Finally, I suggested that the winner write a little post if he wishes, summarizing his experience with this set that I will put online here. He knows that the parts were repackaged in bulk in the various bags re-sealed by me and that he will therefore have to sort all the 7500 parts before embarking on the assembly of this vessel.
Thank you to all the participants, bravo to the winner and a very big bravo to the one who generously passed his turn.
Without any guarantee of results, I can already tell you that I am currently negotiating the possibility of putting into play another copy of this box for the holiday season.
Below, the name / pseudo of the winner.
