winter contest

If the end of the year celebrations inspire you, here is a contest that should please you with the key to beautiful prizes for the best entries.

You don't need to be an experienced MOCeur to participate. Gather the parts (if you do not have the two required boxes on hand, use the inventory To download here), show a little imagination and voila. The youngest are invited to participate as long as they are able to respect the rules.

Those who already have the 40106 Toy Workshop set are halfway there. The 40107 Winter Skating Scene set will be available from November 22 for LEGO Shop VIP customers. This will give you plenty of time to participate in the competition.

If the number of participations is significant, I will add two additional prizes, just to reward more people.

To avoid any confusion or misunderstanding about the rules, dates and everything else, you will find the full rules for this operation below:

 Rules of the contest:

  • This Christmas-themed design contest takes place from November 21, 2014 to December 10, 2014 to 23 p.m.

  • It is open to all participants residing in the following countries: France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium.

  • One entry per participant. The proposed creations must be unpublished and not have been submitted within the framework of another contest or the same contest offered on another site. In case of doubt and after verification, the jury reserves the right to disqualify the participant.

  • Participation in this competition requires you to have the LEGO Creator sets in your possession 40106 Toy Workshop et 40107 Winter Skate Scene or the equivalent in parts of the inventory of these two combined boxes. You can download the inventory in PDF format at this address.

  • The submitted creations must be inspired by the Christmas period and the end of year celebrations. No tank, rebel ship or Batcave ...

  • Participants must make the best use of the bulk of the inventory mentioned above (max. 236 pieces). In case of a missing part in a particular color, it is possible to use the same part in another color. The jury will take into account the desire to use as many items as possible from the required inventory.

  •  No political, religious or sexual references, no drugs of death, blood, torture, reference to terrorism, war, racism, etc ...

  • The creations must be submitted using the form on the site. A photo of a correct resolution, from maximum size of 2 MB and taken on neutral background is required. The jury reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet all of the criteria set out above. Virtual creations (LDD and others) are not accepted.

  • Validated entries will be collected in a gallery dedicated to the competition, the address of which will be communicated later.

  • The jury made up of Santa Claus (if he has time), two LEGO fans who do not want to be insulted by those who will not win and myself (I will assume ...) will select the three best creations. The selection criteria will be totally subjective: Creativity, respect for the constraints imposed by the regulations, complexity of the proposed creation, original use of pieces are among the many criteria that will be taken into account.

  • Three winners will be chosen and, according to their classification, they will receive the prize indicated below:

  • The second will leave with a copy of the set LEGO Ideas "Birds" announced a few days ago.

  • The third will also leave with a copy of the set LEGO Ideas "Birds" announced a few days ago.

  • The prizes are offered by the LEGO Affiliate Program.
