Many of you took part in the contest organized on the blog to win a set 10244 Fairground Mixer signed by its designer: I registered in the end 2393 valid forms, once the entries with an invalid email address or the multiple entries with several email addresses from the same IP address (one participant created 37 different addresses for the occasion) ...).
I am surprised to see that there is a fairly large number of forms that have one or more wrong answers: Of the 2393 valid entries, 453 had at least one wrong answer.
The correct answers were:
- How many pieces is in the 10244 Fairground Mixer set? - Reply : 1746
- How many minifigs is in the 10244 Fairground Mixer set? - Reply : 12
- Who is the LEGO designer of the 10244 Fairground Mixer set? - Reply : Jamie Berard
- What is written on the license plate of the white truck from the 10244 Fairground Mixer set? - Reply : DB 120
- What is written on the license plate of the blue truck from set 10244 Fairground Mixer? - Reply : TP 986
The winner was drawn at random from among the 1940 valid forms with the correct answers to the questions asked:
Contest winner: Jerome D. (Participation registered on 16/05/2014 at 01:10 am) |
He has been contacted by email to obtain his address and the lot will be shipped directly to him by LEGO.
Once again, thank you to everyone who entered, I know each of you was hoping to win and trust me if I could everyone would win ...
I will continue to offer you competitions, in different forms, and I invite you not to be discouraged, your turn may come soon ...
Below, the review of the set by Artifex.
To celebrate the launch on the LEGO Shop, in preview for VIP customers, of the exclusive LEGO Creator Expert set 10244 Fairground Mixer, here is a small contest whose endowment should interest fans of this type of box.
By correctly answering the few questions below, you will participate in a draw among the correct answers recorded which will allow the winner to win a collector's copy of the set 10244 Fairground Mixer signed by its designer.
This competition is open to everyone, without age limit, with the sole constraint of residing in one of the following countries: Metropolitan France and Corsica, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Belgium.
One entry per name / email address / IP will be taken into account.
The competition is open until May 31, 2014 at 23:59 p.m..
The answers to the questions are easy to find, most of the necessary information is available at the page of the set 10244 Fairground Mixer from the LEGO Shop (Click here if you are a VIP customer at LEGO) or on the press release presenting the set that is at this address...
Note that when you order the 10244 Fairgroound Mixer set on the LEGO Shop, LEGO offers you a nice polybag that will add to your fun fair: 40108 Balloon Cart.
UK Readers: The same offer is active on the UK LEGO Shop (Click here to access UK Shop).
The participation phase is now over, the winner will be drawn at random from the correct answers at the start of the week and the prize will be sent to him within ten days. Thank you to all the participants (2517 forms received). |
I warned you that there would be boxes to win more regularly on the blog and we immediately follow with a set LEGO 71006 The Simpsons House always on the same principle.
I know some of you regret that being able to get additional tickets through facebook or twitter makes it a little less fair for anyone who doesn't frequent these social networks.
Unfortunately, and whatever I think personally, it is difficult to do without these networks to promote a particular site or operation.
On the other hand, I integrated additional steps that do not use these social networks so that everyone can get multiple tickets.
We continue with the Punchtab application which, if it is a little complicated to understand at first glance, allows me to manage registrations in a fully automated way and guarantees a really random draw.
Note: Participation in this raffle is reserved for residents in mainland France, Corsica, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland (I can't do more ...).
Good luck to everyone !
How about getting down to business? I suggest you try to win a LEGO Star Wars set 75020 Jabba's Sail Barge via a totally random draw which therefore leaves a real chance for each of the participants to win the prize at stake, it will change you from the phony facebook contests and other competitions where the winners are the friends of the organizer's neighbor. .
You can register through the Punchtab app below. If you want to increase your chances of winning, you can get additional tickets by taking the trouble to spread the word on Facebook or Twitter for example. Otherwise, you can simply register by email and perform at least one action among those offered. Up to you.
If success is there, I will offer you this type of operation more regularly in the future.
It's your turn !
Note: Participation in this raffle is reserved for residents in mainland France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland (I can't do more ...).
Here are the results of the My Own Planet competition which brought together 67 participants. 67 MOCs presented, great ideas, achievements less successful than others and a few MOCs who have missed the subject a little.
I thank all the participants for their efforts and if it was nevertheless necessary to determine a classification, there are more than 10 entries which deserve to be rewarded, it is a fact. Unfortunately, the endowment is limited and the peculiarity of a competition is also to accept not to win against competitors who have proposed a better achievement, or in any case more appreciated by the jury.
That being said, the 10 winning entries are those which obviously convinced the jury the most. It is subjective, but apart from respecting the regulations and the various constraints imposed, the rest of the assessment criteria are necessarily marked by a very "human" subjectivity.
The first prize of the competition is awarded to: Logoss for The Planet Set Utapau, Tion Medon, and Class Hunter Rogue Porax.
