Custom: Captain America by Schmails

Already considered one of the most anticipated minifigs in the next wave of sets in the LEGO Superheroes line, Captain America is also inspiring custom minifig makers.

Schmails, Eurobricks forumer, offers his version of Cape Town which turns out to be really successful.

If the shield and helmet come from brickforge, The design of the torso and face was carried out by Schmails.

Many are wondering about the shape of the shield, which will be round on the version produced by LEGO.

Yet Captain America had a shield with this characteristic shape chosen by Schmails for his minifigure.

As proof, you will find opposite a visual of the cover of number 1 of the comic book dedicated to Cape Town dating from March 1941.
