Finally a tailor-made solution to exhibit our sets?

The sign Pure display may have the solution to your problem. It manufactures and markets display cases in PMMA or polymethyl methacrylate, also known by the trade name Plexiglas, custom designed for certain LEGO sets.

The models sold seem to benefit from a careful manufacturing, with panels 3mm thick, an optional base and relatively discreet hardware. They are delivered as a kit and the prices charged are relatively reasonable.
