It's fashionable and everyone is getting started: The boxes of goodies [Box] for geeks marketed by subscription are legion and even LEGO fans can receive each month at home their box filled with more or less interesting stuff and especially more or less derived from the LEGO universe for a few tens of dollars. Brickloot, Brick Builders Club ou Brickpak are some of the most popular vendors around.
Each supplier obviously promises to deliver a box full of incredible stuff every month ...
The reality is sometimes less exciting and there are dozens of unboxing videos [unboxing], "sponsored" by the distributors of these boxes which reward the best videos, of these boxes whose content is often nothing exceptional: Little LEGO, a lot of stickers, posters, t-shirts and products derivatives whose market value often does not exceed a few dollars.
Some suppliers do not hesitate to deliver products that have nothing to do with the LEGO brand in their boxes: Nanobloks, custom products with questionable finish, etc. In the end, the presence of LEGO products in these boxes is often boils down to a polybag or a sachet of a few pieces ...
What interests me here is whether any of you already subscribe to a monthly service of box focused on LEGO products and to have their opinion on the subject. Satisfied, disappointed?
