Having been presented in many countries, the exhibition The Art of the Brick DC Super Heroes finally arrives in Paris from next April 29 and until August 19, 2018.

Nathan Sawaya, a specialist in brick-based sculptures who had already toured the world with a previous exhibition of monumental sculptures, this time worked on the DC Comics universe while maintaining the particular style of construction which made the fame of this former lawyer converted into the LEGO brick.

The result is to be discovered with the family in the marquee space of Parc de la Villette with 120 new staged creations that bring together more than 2 million bricks and tour the DC universe with its characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonder. Woman, the Joker or Flash, Cyborg, Green Lantern and Aquaman and its iconic vehicles including an enormous Batmobile over five meters long ...

Art of the Brick DC Super Heroes Contest

Another LEGO exhibition as there are dozens of them every year in France? Not quite.

If you want to combine your passion for LEGO and your desires for contemporary art, the international exhibition LE6BRICK which will take place from February 8 to 25 in the premises of 6b (6-10 quai de Seine - 93200 Saint-Denis) is made for you.

Many artists, all united by the plastic brick but active in very varied fields, will make you discover their very personal approach to the LEGO universe: The three photographers Aphofol, Elbreco et Stuck In Plastic, Cole blaq (MOCs), LEGO TO THE PARTY (Street Art), Rick james brick (LEGO compatible caps), Neb Lal (LEGO-based sneakers), Flesh Doll (Mosaics), Jan Vorman (the bricks in the walls, that's him) as well as the jewelry designers Miss Alma et Hint Lab.

If you like LEGOs, you probably already know some of them and you have already discovered their work through a flickr gallery or an Instagram account.

The artists present will obviously exhibit their creations but they will also give of their person with many thematic workshops which will allow you to initiate yourself to their respective disciplines. The program of planned activities is available at this address.

Special mention as far as I am concerned for Hint Lab, a company founded by two French designers whose concept really appeals to me, which manufactures jewelry compatible with LEGO bricks which does not necessarily become too caricatural objects. The event will bring together more than 80 exhibitors who will unveil many other dioramas on a wide variety of themes (Star Wars, Disney, etc.). The 2016 edition had already set the bar very high in terms of creativity, the MOCeurs surpassed themselves to offer an even more spectacular experience to the visitors expected this year.
