brick expo diemoz 2015

Take note, the weekend of September 12 and 13, the little world of LEGO will meet in Diémoz (38) for an exhibition 100% devoted to the small brick which promises to be nice with many creations, animations, competitions, etc. .. To know everything about what to prepare, go on the facebook page of the exhibition.

Speaking of competitions, here is one that I offer in partnership with the organizers of the exhibition.

It is open to everyone, young and old, with three categories: Children under 8, children 8 to 14 and children over 14 and adults.

The mission : Imagine the vehicle from the year 3000. No constraints or limits. Be careful, it is obvious that the model must be made exclusively of LEGO bricks and that your vehicle must be a real creation. No "modification" of an existing set or obvious pumping of the creation of others.

To participate: You will need to bring your creation on Sunday September 13 before 11:00 a.m. at the exhibition site. All participating models will be exhibited and a jury will designate the winners of this competition, the motivating endowment of which can be found below:

Children under 8:

Children aged 8 to 14:

Children over 14 and adults:

The best creations will therefore be rewarded with a few beautiful boxes, but all participants will be rewarded.

You can now purchase tickets for this exhibition on the Ulule space provided for this purpose, with the possibility of subscribing to various rewards including the exclusive minifigure of the event's mascot: MOZ (on the right on the visual at the top of the article).

You have until August 25 to buy your tickets online, after this date you will have to take your troubles patiently on D-Day in the long queue under the Isère sun to hope to access the exhibition. You will not be able to say that you have not been warned ...

Note that tickets are also on presale at Cultura in Bourgoin-Jallieu as well as in certain local shops in Diémoz. More information on the event website at this address.

As this exhibition is now one of the must-see LEGO events, I'll be there all weekend, and it might be an opportunity to meet some of you. I will also have some Hoth Bricks minifigs to offer in my bag ...

Note: If you have any questions about the contest or the rest, feel free to ask them in the comments.

hairless 2015

If you have nothing planned for the weekend of August 22/23 and you want to share your passion for LEGO, the association G 'La Brique is organizing its annual exhibition in Saint-Berthevin (53940, not very far from Laval in Mayenne).

This association, which is very active throughout the year with young and old alike through numerous activities, now needs you: There are still a few places available to exhibit your creations and the organizers will obviously take care of you. to welcome you.

If the adventure tempts you, you can contact the organizers via the facebook page of the exhibition or directly by email to glabrique@gmail.com.

The exhibition promises to be interesting and many activities (raffle, competitions) are planned throughout the weekend.

This is the last exhibition before the start of the school year if I believe the calendar that I try to keep up to date, one more reason to take advantage of your vacation to meet LEGO fans.

fanabrics2015

A quick look back at the weekend's event: The Fana'Briques 2015 exhibition which took place in Rosheim.

Beautiful family atmosphere, very high quality content with the presence of many LUGs from France, Switzerland and Germany and the remarkable presence of Antoine "Briquefan" who had set up his stand in the middle of the large exhibition hall.

Bravo to the organizers and volunteers for the "upgrading" of the event, with notably significant improvements in the circulation of the public between the different exhibition modules and to the exhibitors for their quality creations intelligently presented. I can safely say that this 2015 edition is, in my opinion, the best in terms of the quality of the content offered to visitors among those in which I was able to participate.

Many meetings, various and varied discussions, we will have remade the small world of LEGO for a weekend and it feels good to meet "in real" all those who are actors of the community of fans of LEGO, whether they are visitors, blog readers, MOCeurs, organizers, etc ...

Thank you to the organizers for their welcome, to the exhibitors for their good humor and their availability and to all those who came to meet me, to tell me all the good (or the less good) that they think about what I do on this site, during this really nice weekend.

I say it again for those who did not understand: Go for a walk in the exhibitions that take place near you! (see the calendar of upcoming exhibitions)

It is always a good time for children and their parents and even if LEGO products are above all toys that we "consume", a little contact with all those who have made them a passion and a creative art. never hurts.

I didn't take many pictures in the end, but you will find a very complete recap of what was exposed on Romuald's flickr gallery "Ramoutcho" and Daniel's Picasa gallery "DanSto".

See you next year !
