Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: LEGO sets in 2017

We suspected, but any confirmation is good to take: LEGO will offer products derived from the movie Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 slated for theatrical release in May 2017, it's Marvel that says so.

Still on the same subject but much more interesting, the promise made by the director of the film, James Gunn, during a question-and-answer session on facebook: He intends to ensure that the female characters in the universe GotG will be better represented in this new wave of derivatives.

We can consider that LEGO is not directly targeted by this remark of the director: Nebula and Gamora were entitled to their minifig version in the LEGO products marketed on the occasion of the release of the first film: Nebula was present in the set 76020 Knowhere Escape Mission and Gamora was delivered in the set 76021 The Milano Spaceship Rescue.

Among the main female characters in the film, only Glenn Close / Nova Prime was therefore not entitled to his minifigure.
