I received my "Rebel Box"edited by Huginn & Muninn this morning and as you might expect, the A-Wing fighter exclusive included is not the one presented on the box packaging. This is simply the 30272-piece 58 A-Wing Starfighter polybag.
Far from me the idea of doing bashing free, but here, the visual presented on the box is clearly false: We see a model of more than 150 pieces accompanied by a minifigure and when unpacking we end up with a polybag of 58 pieces without a minifigure.
Knowing that the presence of this product is the main selling point of this box sold 24.95 € which also contains two small sticker fasicules and a very shortened version of the illustrated LEGO Star Wars encyclopedia "updated and augmented"(which therefore goes from 144 pages to 48 pages), I think it is fashionable to warn all those who do not want to see disappointment in the eyes of the kid who will frantically search for the minifigure promised on the packaging.
Coincidence or not, the visual that illustrated the product sheet at amazon, and which was originally in very high resolution (Online on my flickr gallery), has been replaced by a smaller version on which the visual of the exclusive A-Wing fighter model included...
Update with a reaction from publisher Huginn & Muninn who contacted me by email.
For the sake of transparency, I publish it in full below:
I saw your article on the Lego Star Wars Rebel Box. Know that it is absolutely not voluntary or considered on our part, knowing that we did not have knowledge of it, and that kind of problem is the antipodes of the requirement which we have towards our productions. It is therefore for the sake of transparency that I am sending you this email. I instantly forwarded the problem and your article to the editor of this book, we have seen the problem and are currently investigating the source. We have already contacted the English editor of the original version (DK), and I will let you know what happens next. Our fans are important to us, and rest assured that we only have their satisfaction in mind when making our works. So do not hesitate to report any problem with our books or other products directly to us, by email, phone or Facebook, we will always be listening. For now, I can only apologize, and assure you that I will keep you informed and that we will do our best to correct this mistake. As I told you, we work in a transparent way, you are and will therefore of course be free to transmit this information and that to come to your community. |
Make way for the Ninjago range with this visual unveiled on social networks : We discover the infamous Nadakhan, the big bad Djinn of the sixth season of the animated series, who commands a band of air pirates.
At the top right of the image, some flying machines straight out of the sets planned for 2016: 70605 Misfortune's Keep, 70603 Zeppelin Raid et 70599 Cole's Dragon descriptions of which you will find below.
As for the official visuals of the sets to come, we must for the moment be satisfied with those of the two polybags that LEGO had put online by mistake on its server a few weeks ago:
70605 Misfortune's Keep
Stage a sky pirates vs. Ninja battle with Misfortune's Keep, featuring rotating engines for launch and flight modes, fold-out cannons and disc shooters, plus a pirate jet and launchpad. Ninja Lloyd has a booster jet featuring a winch to lower Jay into battle for the golden Djinn Blade with trapped Wu 'element.
|
70603 Zeppelin Raid
Stage an aerial conflict between Doubloon's Raid Zeppelin airship and Zane's flyer. The Zeppelin is armed with a firing front cannon, 2 stud shooters and has a trapdoor function to drop barrels of dynamite (and captured Ninja warriors!). Retaliate by firing the flyer's elemental ice stud shooters and battle for the special Djinn Blade with trapped Jay 'element.
|
70599 Cole's Dragon
Face-off against sky pirate Bucko with Ninja warrior Cole's Dragon, featuring a posable neck, wings and legs. Free the trapped Zane 'element from the special Djinn blade and ride away victorious!

If you landed here all the way down, you love the Ninjago range. So here's one more info: The video game Shadow of Ronin (Ronin's Shadow in French) is now available on iOS (iPhone / iPad) for € 4.99:
First polybag of the future LEGO Nexo Knights range, the reference 30371 Knight's Cycle with a mini-vehicle and a Royal Soldier armed with his spear.
If you are impatiently awaiting this new range, don't worry, you will have enough to satisfy your desires of retro-futuristic knights with sets galore (a fortnight to start), books in spades, polybags everywhere, an animated series, video games, probably a monthly magazine, etc ...
The adventures of the five gentle knights who defend Knightonia, the capital of Knighton against the infamous Jestro and his army of lava monsters will be available in all sauces, as was the case for the defunct Legends of Chima range in its time.
My youngest six-year-old son is still waiting to find out a little more before he gets carried away with this new license but I already feel him motivated by the concept of knights equipped with big armor and super shields. And in view of what he tells me, I feel that the five knights will have reinforcement with Laval and his friends to go and face the new villains. Legends of Chima is over, but not for everyone.
By the way, as confirmed to me Marine by email, the official Legends of Chima magazine will definitely stop at number 22.
Belgian and border friends, the Sudpresse group will offer you some LEGO Star Wars polybags from November 7 to 28.
Please note, the sachets are not offered with the different titles of the group: You will not only have to buy a copy of the newspaper but you will also have to add 2.95 € per polybag to be able to obtain these four sachets that are announced to us as unpublished.
The above visual is sufficiently explicit: The polybag 30276 First Order Special Forces Tie Fighter will be one of the four sachets announced. Among the three other sachets offered, I hope that the reference 30278 Poe's X-Wing Fighter will be there ...
(Thanks to Joehelldeloxley for the info)
Update via Facebook : No X-Wing. The other three sachets are the following references: 30275 Tie Advanced Prototype, 30272 A-Wing Starfighter et 30274AT-DP.
It's November 3rd and if you haven't already finished and put the LEGO Dimensions game away, Wave XNUMX of Expansion Packs are available now at your favorite stores as well as the LEGO Shop.
5 packs are on the menu: 3 Fun Packs , 1 Team Pack and 1 Level Pack. The most anticipated pack of this new wave of extensions is probably the benchmark 71204 Doctor Who Level Pack sold for € 29.99.
Some are impatiently waiting to be able to unlock the included level and others will only afford this box for the minifig of the twelfth Doctor supplied with a Tardis microphone and the K-9 robot dog.
By the way, the Level Pack 71202 The Simpsons is currently offered at € 14.99 instead of € 29.99 at amazon.fr.
