Batmobile 1936 Mark I by Capt. Brig

A nice MOC to start the week with this rather successful vintage Batmobile proposed by Cpt. Brig. I really like the front that I find harmonious with the grille, the bat and the headlights ...

This achievement will undoubtedly not be to everyone's taste, but admit that it changes us a little from the eternal Tumblers in all sauces ...

To discover this MOC from every angle, go to the flickr gallery of Cpt. Brig.

LEGO Star Wars TV Special: The Empire Strikes Out - Cartoon Network

This is the site theforce.net which gives us some info on the next LEGO Star Wars cartoon which should be released on September 26 in the USA.

Indeed, two TV guides list a special episode with the title "The Empire Strikes Out" scheduled for September 26, 2012 at 20:00 on Cartoon Network.

According to the guides the descriptions vary: TVGuide.com is about Luke, become a new celebrity, starting a new secret mission in which his fans put spikes in his wheels and Darth Vader bickering with Darth Maul. Zap2it.com announces that after the explosion of the Death Star, the rebels discover a new imperial threat.

These descriptions join the video presentation of the next programs of the Cartoon Network channel that I told you about a few days ago. (see this article)

LEGO Star Wars 9516 Jabba's Palace & Rancor Pit (3D Rendered by Gunner)

Gunner, a Eurobricks forumer, ventured to offer a 3D rendering (on the left in the image above, the two visuals on the right are those of LEGO) of what the set of the two LEGO Star Wars sets could look like 9516 Jabba's Palace and Rancor Pit connected to each other.

If it is now obvious that LEGO designed this Rancor Pit with the possibility of inserting it under Jabba's palace, it remains to be seen how it was thought of. Since the palace tower is detachable, it shouldn't be part of the equation, and Gunner's 3D rendering leaves me confused about the orientation of the Rancor Pit.

I would wait to see the back of the box of the set containing the Rancor Pit to see how LEGO considered the thing from its side ...

Recon Scout Ship by Talebuilder K-Wing by Denis & Valentin

Because after all the readers of the blog are sometimes also MOCeurs, and they send me by email some of their creations, I give you here a small recap of what I received of interest lately.

First of all Talebuilder and his superb Recon Scout Ship accompanied by his speeder (click on the first photo above). You will see more on his flickr gallery and this MOC is also a Cuusoo project. It's clean, well done and it deserves a look.

Another good surprise, I received by email this MOC of K-Wing (second photo) proposed by Denis and his son Valentin. The MOCs of this ship are not legion and I will see with them to get photos on neutral background and present it to you in more detail here.

Jim sent me his Republic Gunship MOC (third photo). It's plush, it exudes solidity and it's teeming with details. You can see more on its MOCpages space.

Yann alias Marlou sent me one of his creations (fourth photo), a nice mini-speeder. He regularly presents his photos and his work on his Tumblr accessible here.

I also received some MOCs on the Super Heroes theme, I will do the same thing soon on Brick Heroes.
