7958Another new visual stamped "Preliminary" for the Star Wars advent calendar scheduled for late 2011.
We see the range of mini models that will be provided and the few minifigs included.
Note the ridiculous Yoda dressed as Santa Claus, presented as "Exclusive" ......
For the rest, the mini models are arbitrary, as usual with the LEGO advent calendars, except perhaps the Slave I and more ....
In short, this set will not revolutionize the genre, but we will still be satisfied to be able to have a calendar on a different theme from the usual City or Castle.

UniverseWe suspected it but after all it could work.

Massively Multiplayer Online Gaming LEGO Universe is currently on sale at € 9.99 shipping included with 1 month of free online play.

Either LEGO wants to boost the subscriptions to its game, or it's a last-ditch fight before the merry-go-round comes to a complete stop.

I tried this game (only available in English) during the beta and after its official launch, and beyond the first few minutes, it's rather boring, neither beautiful, nor ugly, neither very alive, nor very brilliant.

The passion for LEGO at its limits, and if I particularly like the LEGO series on consoles (Batman / Indy / SW / HP), there I did not hang at all.
Without getting too wet, I can tell you that the game will be free in June and the servers closed at the start of the school year .....

7965 insideFinally a view of the interior of the set 7965: Millenium Falcon ...

We discover the (disappointing) layout of this set (or playset) planned for June 2011.
Nothing too exciting, too much gray kills gray ...

Note that this visual seems to be really from a preliminary version, you will notice the catastrophic quality of the editing (!) Of the interior view with Han Solo and Leia Organa ....
In short, the set is articulated, as we had guessed, but does not bode well if it remains as it is. It is even more attractive simply closed and put, than in open position ....

slave1Another really successful MOC with this Slave I in Midi Scale format, produced by Eichhorn.

The range of colors used is very faithful to the model that served as a reference, namely the set 8097 (Slav I).

The creator of this MOC has put several views of the result on the dedicated topic at Eurobricks.

The LDD file is also available via this RapidShare link, if you feel like reproducing it.

01 landspeederwfigsSeen on Eurobricks, this revisited version of the Landspeeder.

If it is not unanimous, it must be recognized that the SNOT realization is extremely well thought out.

The colors used are debatable, but the format and size respect the proportions of the reference model.
