10760 Underminer's Bank Heist

The and 10760 Underminer's Bank Heist (149 pieces - 32.99 €) is the second of three sets in the LEGO Juniors range based on the animated film The Incredibles 2. It will allow the youngest to reproduce a scene from the film and collectors to complete a part of the family Parr.

Here, it is the Demolisseur (Underminer) who gives a hard time to Robert "Bob" Parr and Hélène Parr alias Mr. and Mrs. Indestructible. There is plenty of fun with two vehicles, the tunnel boring machine and the Incredimobile, a safe to break through, banknotes and jewels to steal and a street corner that will complement the scene.

As usual in sets from the LEGO Juniors range, the two vehicles are assembled in a matter of minutes. Their chassis is a massive block on which are grafted some parts for a quick assembly and immediate playability.

Other than the blue lines and the red circle on the hood, the Incredimobile provided here has little to do with the vehicle seen in the animated film, LEGO could have made an effort to come up with a more faithful model.

Note that if the content of sets in the LEGO Juniors range is simplified to the extreme to allow the youngest to discover the LEGO universe System, the instructions are also much more detailed and didactic than those of the classic sets.

As usual, no stickers to stick in this box which allows you to obtain some pretty pad printed pieces including a wanted notice for Underminer, a safe door, a clock and three banknotes. It's always taken.

10760 Underminer's Bank Heist

On the minifig side, this set allows you to get Underminer with his miner's helmet that made the heyday of the CITY range in 2012 and his oversized fists seen in many sets of Legends of Chima, Nexo Knights or Super Heroes.

Robert and Hélène Parr are entitled to two-color molded arms and legs, and Bob's minifig is different from the one seen in the Disney collectible minifig series (ref. Lego 71012). The orange belt is now pad printed directly on the torso instead of being placed on the hips.

The two facial expressions of Hélène Parr are here different from those of the minifigure of the set 10759 Elastigirl's Rooftop Pursuit.

We can discuss the choice of minifig format for Bob. The character might have deserved to be represented as a bigfig to keep the proportions seen on the screen: He is much taller than his wife and the minifigure does not really pay tribute to the man's muscles.

10760 Underminer's Bank Heist

This set offers a lot of fun (a good chase, it's always fun ...) and the assembly phase is a little more consistent than for the set 10759 Elastigirl's Rooftop Pursuit. It is in my opinion the most fun of the three sets that are marketed. There is still € 32.90 for Mr and Mrs Parr, it's a bit expensive ...

10759 Elastigirl's Rooftop Pursuit

With the Juniors range, LEGO has invented the transition product for children accustomed to large DUPLO bricks who are old enough to switch to parts System. On the price side, parents will already be used to the high public prices of DUPLO sets and we do not change a winning team ...

Three new LEGO Juniors boxes and a pack of two characters in BrickHeadz format (41613 Mr Incredible & Frozone) are marketed around the release of the movie The Incredibles 2 (The Incredibles 2). No "classic" sets. This is quite logical considering that the main target of these derivatives are very young children.

LEGO sent me the three LEGO Juniors sets in question, so it's an opportunity to take a tour of these three boxes that offer something to bring together the entire Parr family.
Those who collect only minifigs also probably already have Mr Incredible (Mr Indestructible) and Syndrome, two characters present in the bags of the Disney minifig series (ref. Lego 71012). They will find in these different boxes something to expand their collections.

So we start today with the set 10759 Elastigirl's Rooftop Pursuit (95 pieces - 26.99 €) which allows you to obtain Helene Parr in her costume of Elastigirl and Screenslaver, a villain who hypnotizes his victims using the rotor of his helicopter. Elastigirl has her own ... Elasticycle, obviously. The fairing already seen in the LEGO Ninjago set 70638 Katana V11 (2018) is provided here in Medium Stone Gray.

As usual in the LEGO Juniors line, the content is sold as "easy to build". To put it mildly, it looks like a Happy Meal toy with the meta-pieces that make up the skeleton of the various vehicles. But this is the concept intended by LEGO and it is indicated roughly on the box.
For those who do not yet know, there are no stickers in these sets, everything is pad printed.

10759 Elastigirl's Rooftop Pursuit

If you are over 5 years old, the set will be assembled in five minutes flat, including the coffee break. The end result is very honest with two protagonists, two vehicles, a helipad and even a laptop and a walkie talkie. There is plenty of fun, that's the purpose of this box.

The Elastigirl minifig delivered in this box is equipped with flexible plastic arms which cross the torso of the figurine on the same principle as Ms. Marvel in the set 76076 Captain America Jet Pursuit. For those who do not have the Ms. Marvel minifigure, know that you can slide the tube to one side or another to lengthen or shorten one arm (and therefore logically shorten or lengthen the other ... ). This tube is not removable and LEGO does not provide conventional arms.

We will appreciate the legs of Elastigirl molded in two colors and the new reusable hair for other female characters but we will regret the absence of pad printing on the back of the various members of the Parr family. The orange belt materialized on the front of the torso would have deserved to be printed also on the back. We will do with it.

You won't see Screenslaver's face here, you'll find out why later. The characters' legs are in Pearl Dark Gray, they are also present in the LEGO Star Wars sets 75190 First Order Star Destroyer et 75201 First Order AT-ST or in the LEGO Marvel set 76103 Corvus Glaive Thresher Attack.
If you're only targeting members of the Parr family, you can skip this set. Hélène Parr is also delivered in another box, with standard arms.

26.99 € is a bit expensive for two minifigs and a few coins. A third character would have been welcome. But as the other would say: when you love, you don't count (or so little) ...

75928 Blue's Helicopter Pursuit

We continue this test series of sets from the LEGO range Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom with the reference 75928 Blue's Helicopter Pursuit (397 pieces - 49.99 €).

We know straight away that with this set there is a lot of fun: a helicopter, a quad, three characters and a dino, it will not take more to attract the attention of the youngest.

The helicopter will bring back memories for those who spent their money in the LEGO CITY set 60123 Volcano Supply Helicopter (2016). It is a well-designed machine, easy to handle and whose cockpit opens to install the supplied pilot. It lacks a handle to pilot the machine, but we will not hold it against LEGO: Once the fairing in place, we forgive this oversight.

Ken Weathley will be seated in one of the two seats in the rear compartment and the cage in which Blue is locked can be hung in the rear. A rotating cannon will sow coins everywhere in the living room. It's playable, LEGO has integrated a mechanism to turn the blades of the helicopter, I validate.

75928 Blue's Helicopter Pursuit

Owen will chase the helicopter with his trailer quad and he can try to unhook the cage with his crossbow to free his buddy. The quad is compact but well designed, it is suitable for long hours of play.
The cage whose uprights can be folded down to encourage Blue to fall into the trap while enjoying the chicken thigh is minimalist and a little fragile in use, but it is more than enough for a little fun.

75928 Blue's Helicopter Pursuit

Owen Grady's (Chris Pratt) minifig, here decked out in a backpack, is identical to the one delivered in the sets 75930 Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate (139.99 €) and 75926 Pteranodon Chase (24.99 €).
Ken Weathley's is also identical to the version seen in the set 75930 Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate.
Finally, the pilot's outfit is the one that equips the guards and trackers in all the other boxes in the range.

75928 Blue's Helicopter Pursuit

The dinosaur delivered in this box, The Velociraptor Blue, is the same one seen in the set 75930 Indoraptor Rampage at Lockwood Estate.

This set is probably the one with the most to offer in the LEGO range Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom with Owen, Blue and a rate that could almost be considered reasonable.
After all, the LEGO CITY set 60123 Volcano Supply Helicopter (2016) also offered in its time a helicopter, an additional machine and three generic minifigs for a total of 330 pieces and a public price of 54.99 € ...

I say yes, but at € 35 at Amazon in a few weeks / months, just to keep enough to eat ice cream before going to see the film.

76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown

The movie Avengers: Infinity War is now in theaters so it's an opportunity to quickly talk about the set 76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown (1004 pieces - 109.99 €).

And as much to kill the suspense right away, I find that this box is a real success, both in form and in substance. As usual, there is no question of making a Prévert-style inventory here, we quickly go around the set, just to give you some impressions.

The two facades provided, the Sanctum Sanctorum and the building where Peter Parker's apartment is located, have nothing to envy to the best buildings of the Creator Expert range (Modulars) and they will fit perfectly into a street made up of other constructions from this range.

The most meticulous can always improve the finishes of the two facades with a few Tiles to hide the visible tenons and fill the holes left by the parts Technic.

Best of all, the playset can be reconfigured with different angles to form a linear set or a street corner.
The piece of sidewalk with the trash can and the newspaper kiosk will be used to block the two facades at an angle of 45 °, it's ingenious. In a linear position, it completes the diorama at the end of the street.

76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown

Inside the two buildings, LEGO has this time left some room in the different rooms for young fans to play comfortably with their minifigs. The set is a bit thicker than the cinema fronts usually supplied from LEGO in licensed sets.

Each room is equipped with accessories or furniture, without overdoing it. The adult fan will see many nods to the Marvel universe, the child who will be offered this box can have fun in each of the rooms easily identifiable by its content.

Since it is a playset, we find here some nice features that will amuse the youngest: Explosion of walls and windows, hatch, launching of minifig from the roof, water tower on which the spider web thread to pull up Iron Spider, etc ...

It's pretty complete and playable. The Infinity Gem is hidden behind one of the building's walls, I won't tell you more.

76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown

Interesting detail, the playset closes on itself to form a single coherent building which will serve as a bonus as a storage box for accessories and minifigs.

It will then slip easily between two constructions in a diorama of Modulars provided you remove the spider web-based mechanism visible in the photo below.

The assembly moves easily once closed. A locking latch would have been welcome to allow younger children to store their playset without risking accidental opening.

For those who are interested, 18 stickers dress the whole, including a few cobwebs placed on the windows and on the walls.

76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown

The endowment in characters of this box is very correct with from left to right below the figurine of Cull Obsidian, Ebony Maw, Iron Man (MK50), Dr Strange and Iron Spider. We would always like more, with why not a Peter Parker in civilian clothes or an additional villain, but it is already very correct.

Overall, there isn't much to fault about the pad printing of each of these minifigs. Iron Man comes here with a face mimicking the armor facial HUD and that's a good thing. Those who prefer to leave the minifigure with a standard face will only have to turn their heads.

76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown

Only regret, Iron Spider did not have the chance to inherit legs molded in two colors. The pad printing only on the front therefore falls a little flat.

Dr Strange keeps a pad printing and a face similar to those of the minifigure seen in the set 76060 Doctor Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum (2016) but the hair delivered with this new version really improves the final look.
The area that is supposed to be in Flesh (flesh color) at the level of the neck is as usual a little pale because struck without underlay on the dark blue chest. The cape is now in two pieces.

76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown

Finally, LEGO delivers in this box a slew of "Power Blasts", these translucent accessories that allow different characters to materialize their different powers or weapons. There are enough of them to equip everyone with many variations, including several elements that serve to reproduce the trails left by Iron Man's thrusters This is a good point for playability.

76108 Sanctum Sanctorum Showdown

In the end, I say yes. This set is proof that it is possible to produce content on a theme that often gives pride of place to machines, ships and other vehicles by offering a play area that does not only serve as a pretext to sell us some minifigs at the price strong.

The word playset takes on its full meaning here, and everyone will find something for it: The youngest will feast on the many features on offer and adult fans will find something to organize a convincing little diorama here.

The set is already available at a slightly lower rate at the retail price charged by LEGO, which makes it really essential. If I only had to buy one box of this new wave of sets based on the film Avengers: Infinity War, it would be this one.
If on your side you have already bought this box, do not hesitate to share your feelings in the comments.

75927 Stygimoloch Breakout

Today we are interested in the second set of the LEGO range Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom which features an enclosure and a dinosaur which inevitably tries to escape: The reference 75927 Stygimoloch Breakout (222 pieces - 39.99 €).

The enclosure is here attached to a small laboratory, it is always that taken. It is obviously Dr. Henry Wu (BD Wong) who officiates in the lab in question and this set has at least the merit of allowing us to obtain a new minifigure of the character.

Until now, you had to buy the set 75919 Indomins Rex Breakout, sold 129.99 € either the most expensive box of the range marketed in 2015, or the special edition from the LEGO Jurassic World video game to get a Dr. Wu minifigure.

75927 Stygimoloch Breakout

The set offers a minimum of playability with the various integrated mobile elements: The enclosure door opens by sliding upwards, the door and the window of the laboratory give way under the blows of the Stygimoloch.

No fun for hours, but this set is once again a addon almost correct for a fan who already owns a few other boxes. Here, the enclosure is at least closed and the set is not satisfied with a piece of fence ...

75927 Stygimoloch Breakout

The minifig endowment is very limited. We are therefore satisfied here with a fairly neutral Dr. Henry Wu and a guard armed with a hypodermic rifle with a generic outfit already seen in several other sets of the same range.

For those wondering, the Stygimoloch is not a hybrid dino cobbled together by Wu. It is a real dinosaur. Too bad the LEGO minifigure looks more like a DUPLO toy than anything with this look ...

40 € for that is once again really too expensive for an interesting character whose minifigure is still very basic and for a dinosaur as exclusive to this set as it is. As for the set 75931 Dilophosaurus Outpost Attack, a simple quad would have brought a little playability by allowing the guard to go in pursuit of the Stygimoloch ...

It's a shame, even if we manage to find some good sides to these Jurassic World sets, their high public price always ruins the party ...

75927 Stygimoloch Breakout

Obviously, I say no. It's too expensive and everything in this set is ultimately just a pretext to sell us a dinosaur figurine exclusive to this box.
