Justice League: the film confirmed for 2018

Warner Bros. confirms that a film featuring the Justice League full set is expected before the end of 2018, and Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) are expected to don their respective costumes again after the Batman vs. Superman announced for May 2016.

Zack SnyderMan of Steel, 300, Watchmen...) will be in the making of these next two films. The Hollywood Reporter even claims that the film Justice League could be boxed in the wake of Batman vs. Superman for a theatrical release that could be brought forward to 2017.

With any luck, new minifigs from Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, Flash, Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern should hit shelves in the next waves of DC Comics sets ...

If LEGO continues its logic of products derived from Marvel and DC films, we should not expect a plethora of boxes, but three sets per film as is already the case for some Marvel or DC films released in 2012 and in 2013 or planned for 2014 (Guardians of the Galaxy, Iron Man 3, Man of Steel).

Alone Avengers had received seven boxes (counting the sets Ultrabuild Iron Man, Captain America and Hulk), all based on the film, in 2012. And it should also be remembered that LEGO does not systematically release several sets associated with a film: Nothing for Thor: The Dark World released in 2013 or Captain America: The Winter Soldier released this year and only one set for the last opus of the trilogy The Dark Knight in 2013.
