The LEGO DUPLO brick turns 50 today

After 40 years of the LEGO Technic range, 60 years of the LEGO brick and 40 years of the minifig, there is yet another anniversary to celebrate with the 50 years of the LEGO DUPLO brick.

No cake, candles or gifts, LEGO just provides a press release that reminds us that if we buy DUPLO bricks for our children, they will have a better chance of ending up as an astronaut or an engineer one day.
