As soon as you pronounce the word LEGO on social networks, necessarily, that buzz.
Christy Mack, star (apparently more or less self-proclaimed) of X on the other side of the Atlantic, understood it well but she has also just paid the price: A few days ago, she launched a contest and promised on his Twitter account a reward of a sexual nature to the one who would build her a MOC made from LEGO bricks that she could display at home.
Immediately, dozens of sites and blogs, from the most opportunistic to the most serious, took up the news, too happy to be able to bounce back on an improbable relationship between porn cinema and LEGO bricks.
Christy Mack was then inundated with several hundred messages presenting her with various and varied MOCs. A lucky winner could have been chosen and the matter could have ended there.
But that's without counting on the quick reaction of lawyers for the LEGO company, who were quite annoyed to see the brand associated with a porn star who promises a sexual act in exchange for a creation based on the brand's bricks, summoned the young lady to immediately cancel the "competition" launched a few hours earlier. What she just did, a little annoyed to see all this marketing operation deflate in a much less sexy way than it had started.
Otherwise, without transition and to change the subject, you have probably read it everywhere today, you can also build stuff in Google Chrome with a few LEGO bricks. I tried, it's a nice interactive advertisement for LEGO, it will allow a lot of people to discover the principle of the software Lego digital designer and that's nice five minutes. It is at this address that it happens.
I forgot, McDonald's will distribute in its Happy Meal plastic cups with 3D effect bearing the image of the characters from The LEGO Movie (Youpi ...), with 2 different models every week from February 12 to March 11, 2014. A visual of the cups in question is available here. Meanwhile, at Quick there will be real Playmobil figures in the Magic Box...
I add a second visual of the operation accessible here.
